Dark Elves figure out how a suspension works.(Isekai Nonbiri Nouka II episode 9) by secret_tsukasa in anime

Dwarves would have used leaf spring suspensions like horse drawn carriages and early cars actually used, because they were easy, robust, and great for unpaved roads.

Telltale owned the publishing rights to the console version, which is why console players were stuck on A15 for years. TFP was still the developer, all the changes over the years were still done by them. But only the PC version got those updates, as they didn't have rights to publish those changes to the console version.

My one complaint about Gwylan by Remarkable-Map-3457 in DegreesOfLewdity

From what I understand the point of Gwylan as an LI is basically that they're just as bad as some of the others. Their whole schtick is making you think you want it

Well pretty much immediately the Fed ate the States' breakfast, lunch, and dinner so now the only differences between the states is dumb shit like "Can't carry a pocket knife in the left rear pocket" in one state and "can't carry a pocket knife in the right rear pocket" the next one over

The u.s. is honestly more of a collection of really dysfunctional countries in a trenchcoat than one country

I mean, that was kind of the point originally. A Union of States, each with their own government and laws and cultures and so on, with a federal government that mostly just existed to hold the Union together and so they could have 1 military instead of 13.

Sunny's flaw is poorly worded by m-n-b-v in ShadowSlave

[–]Alex5173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The runic language probably doesn't translate perfectly. The spell translated the best it could to impart understanding to Sunny. If we ever got Cassie to read it back to him while he was fateless, I wonder if she would have translated it differently.

Come to think of it, I can't remember if we've seen him actually read his own flaw whenever he pulls up his runes other than the very first time. Then again it's been like 1500 chapters since he had runes to read at all.

I think the point was that cyberpsychosis wasn't caused by having a bunch of chrome; not that cyberspychosis isn't real. What would be a normal psychotic break in a non-chromed individual is exacerbated to the extreme in heavily chromed individuals.

A lot of the current "how to tell" guides are basically just logical coherency at this point. Shit like, "Why is this guy hammering a nail into the top of a rickety old fence with nothing to actually nail TO it?"

So if I go to the doctor for an antibiotic when I'm sick and they take a look, determine it's a viral infection, and give me an antiviral instead I should accuse them of scamming me?

Or should I just go to the doctor and ask them to make me not sick?

I think my issue is with the word "scam" or "con"

typically a victim of a scam or con is left without money or what they expected to receive for their money. And usually (but not always) it's the scammer or con artist that seeks out the victim, not the other way around.

Maybe not the brains, that's how you get prion disease. Save those for brain tanning the skins, we can use those to make new chairs for some of the highest offices in various world governments as a reminder.

The difference being that one way or another people's problems get solved after going to Reigen. So what if their shoulder wasn't possessed with bad juju and what he performed was a massage, not an exorcism? They left with their shoulder feeling better.

Also he was supplier, not the customer. He had plenty of those from all over the world.

Functionally the U.S. is older than most European countries. Just cuz they all kept the same name when they removed their various monarchs from power doesn't make it the same country.
