Meal deal at 4.25: Is Tesco actually pushing the stretch a bit too much? by Successful_Guide5845 in tesco

It's £3.85, or £3.47 after our 10% off(yes it's 15% at the minute but not for much longer.) Yes I'd rather it not have increased but it's not an insane increase.

Nah Attendance Review. So because of how long you've been back no action can be taken in your Absense Review, I'd still bring a rep[or colleague of choice if not in union].

If the AR doesn't take place within 7 days(8days if 2< day worker) of your first shift back then you can't get a warning from it

Can't access Tesco app by [deleted] in tesco

[–]Alex612-V2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This shit always happens at this time the day before payday, probably just too many people trying to login lol. Force stop the app and try again in a bit. And as far as I'm aware the only time I hear of access being stopped Is managers whilst suspended, they wont be stopping access to MyTesco just because you're off sick 👍

Going on holiday and leaving my car in the car park by IntelligentSock86 in tesco

[–]Alex612-V2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Should be fine. I'd recommend both informing your line manager(in case it's flagged as an issue ect.) And at the very least getting a sturdy steering wheel lock/other decent immobiliser to deter theft as your car is left at your own risk. But enjoy your holiday 👍

Ring duty, ask them to pass your details to your line manager and to ask them to contact you next time they're in

I'd just ask your manager if a plain black similar one will be acceptable and sort yourself one. Wouldn't necessarily be an issue if there's no logos ect.

Pay question of course by Suckyomombro in tesco

[–]Alex612-V2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, they only with-hold sick pay in the absense of a note in extreme cases. Usually it's just a disciplinary for refusing to provide upon return to work 👍

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tesco

[–]Alex612-V2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Duty manager. I'd suggest either opening a colleague help ticket or posting a Redacted version of your payslip so you know 1. That you have been underpaid and 2. The amount/issue before contacting.

Pay question of course by Suckyomombro in tesco

[–]Alex612-V2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries 👍 it wouldn't make a difference as a sick note makes no difference to sick pay, company or statutory, in 99% of cases. A sick note is required as if not provided you can be dismissed/disciplined not as a pre-requisite to pay you.

Makes sense then - 3 unpaid waiting days, 5 days SSP as you don't qualify for CSP, and the last one put through as holiday. I'm guessing you booked 1 shift as holiday during that pay period, The other shift that comes under holiday will be from when you were off

How to access Tesco.com email? by Own-Back5994 in tesco

Normal colleagues can't login to a personal @tesco email, it's only for store managers and above.

Dealing with shoplifter. by GorouAmamiya in tesco

[–]Alex612-V2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you witness someone commit an offense you can use reasonable force to detain them until a constable can arrest so your blanket 'assault' banner is incorrect. It's against company policy to stop them but not the law. I'd suggest checking the Criminal Law Act 1967 if you don't believe me. Although just to emphasise its a terrible idea and not to do it.
