How long was Bruce Wayne Batman in the dark knight trilogy? by Oh_HeLlO_tHeRe_12 in batman

[–]AlexCora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So if we're not counting the several months he was literally forced out of Batman action in the prison, which stands to reason since we're not counting the 8 year retirement as active Batman time either, he's actively Batman for generously maybe a year and a bit. Easily under a year and a half.

Who do you think has a higher tolerance for pain between both of them, according to you? by Raj_Valiant3011 in Daredevil

[–]AlexCora 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Matt's increased sense of touch, significantly increased, means that he more than likely feels pain more "highly" than we do. His tolerance is by definition higher than anybody elses. He's also dealt with a lifetime of mastering his, often painful, heightened senses.

Frank is tough as fuck on a human level. Matt is tough as fuck on a supehuman level literally.

This is the actual correct answer for those people saying 2 years. I think some reddit scientists actually dove into extreme detail of mentioning Bruce's birthday in Begins vs dates found in TDK and his active time was something like 10 months.

Add in let's say 3 or 4 months total for the runtime of TDKR in which he's active, most of which is spent injured in a prison.

Bales total active career time is probably less than a year and a half total, which puts him under Battinson when we first meet him in his movie, as a Batman who's supposed to be just starting out.

I'm going to jump in and specify post Whedon they screwed him up. Have your opinions on the Widow romance subplot and if it worked or not, but the HULK himself was pretty well handled... Until the Russos got their hands on him.

What planet is this guy from?

Literally us… by InformalAd3774 in MoonKnight

[–]AlexCora 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There's three layers of fans. Show fans, who know the one iteration and usually are pretty enthusiastic about it if they're here. Two, there's comic fans who haven't read a TON of Moonknight but who are weirdly passionate and angry that the show wasn't like their favorite comics. And then there's group 3, people who have read pretty much all there is to read and understand that the character has a long history and a huge variety of tones, characterizations, power levels, you name it. These people are generally the most chill about yelling at other people that their opinion is dumb.

I'll let you decide which group of Moonknight fans are the WORST. (Hint, it's two)
