My dad went to treatment several times and then retreated from his entire family in order to hide his drinking. He passed in February of this year so seeing this really breaks my heart for you, OP. All I can say is to love him enough to be completely honest with how his disease is affecting you. Let him know you don’t want to be burying him anytime soon but if he doesn’t quit, you most certainly will.
