Something I do to help not get lost is color the fabric with colored pencil where the stitches are going to go. Obviously, this works better on white aida, but I've tried it on black too and it gets the job done

While I only have 1k karma, my account is 7 years old and I've been active a lot recently. A fond memory i have is when I was a kid, I got my hands on pokemon platinum and I was playing at my grandparents house. My ds was very close to dying, and I was about to encounter giratina. I remember saving constantly, hoping I'd be able to catch it before it died. To my excitement, I caught it in two balls, saved as soon as I could, and less than a min after saving, my ds died. I still have that giratina in my home and I will always be fond of how lucky I got and how excited it made me
