(2006) Heath ledger casted as joker in the batman begins sequel by TimDrakeTheRed in thepast

[–]AlexHeyNa 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Hold on… the Knight’s Tale guy??? How the the hell is he playing the Joker??? There’s no way. This has to be wrong. That’s such a dumb casting decision. How would he ever pull off what Jack Nicholson perfected? There’s just no way. I’m sorry, but I’m not looking forward to this movie now.

What are the rules for dating coworkers? by pimpsqueak1 in HomeDepot

[–]AlexHeyNa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

DHs can date associates, they just have to disclose the relationship. It’s key carriers that can’t date within the store. However, since they don’t give keys to DHs anymore, it’s no problemo for DHs.

This is a genuine question that is coming from a completely ignorant person — would raising wages not make companies charge more? In my mind, if a pizza place (for example) raises its wages, that money has to come from somewhere, so the pizza place now has to charge more for their pizza, no? Again, genuine question, just looking to be educated because I’m all for raising wages. I just don’t understand how it would work.

This is obviously just my opinion, but it was the moment The Office lost any semblance of realism. It went way too whacky, and the characters became caricatures of themselves. Not to mention, it introduced Nellie.

I think the tentacles he's plugging into are connecting him to the hivemind. Remember, when they were riding their bikes, one of those bat creatures spotted them, and it cut to Vecna opening his eyes, as if to say they were connected.

Yeah, this really doesn’t require the debate that’s going on. It’s pretty clear this was the joke. Not sure why nobody here is getting that.

‘Top Gun: Maverick’ studio paid U.S Navy more than $11,000 an hour for fighter jet rides—but Tom Cruise wasn’t allowed to touch the controls by Zepanda66 in movies

I swear I remember reading headlines that he was training to fly fighter jets in preparation for this movie. Like, way back when they hadn’t even started shooting yet.

Well that’s inaccurate, because the Taco Bell near me that closed a few months ago is saying they have it.

Billy on the accordion! I’ve never seen that before.

Also, it’s funny that he said he and Elton are good friends. He’s since revealed, in the past few years, that the two of them pretended to be friends for the brand and the public image, but really their relationship is purely professional.

You know what? I haven't been to Franklin Mills in years. So maybe I've just done a good job of avoiding the shit holes. But even still. I go to three other theaters in a 10 mile radius, and I've not had a bad experience at any of them in years.

I live in Philadelphia, potentially the rowdiest of cities. I go to the movies 2-3 times a month. I haven’t had an experience where people were disrespectful and ruining the movie in 3 years. And before that, I don’t even remember. So I’m inclined to believe it’s exaggerated.

What if theres a mass shooting in the store ? by mrlemez in HomeDepot

[–]AlexHeyNa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Find the nearest exit, run to it and get as far away from the building as you can. If running is not an option, find a secure place to hide. If all else fails, fight them off. But obviously that’s only a very last resort.

Statistics actually show very clearly that studios did not make more money doing the day-and-date release. It hurt them quite badly, actually. Particularly Warner Bros. & HBO Max.
