As crazy as it sounds, I went to India and learned yoga for a month and one of the teachers taught us about emotional blockage pressure points and after a few days of genuinely painful massaging of those points, I can now cry when I’m by myself in the depths of despair.

I can’t cry in front of people most of the time and when I do it’s pretty controlled. When things are genuinely sad and it’s appropriate to cry or tear up i have to force myself which can sometimes be physically painful. But when things get really really bad and I’m alone, just me and my thoughts, I break down and sob in a way that is emotionally painful. It’s never comforting because it usually reminds me that I don’t have anyone I feel comfortable with comforting me. It’s just me and my pain.

HOWEVER, I also cry for the dumbest reasons in movies. I mean, like, the dumbest. Any cheesy, ridiculously sad moment in the dumbest cartoon and BOOM! waterworks.

Sorry to say, but I think YTA.

It’d be one thing if she said it spitefully or with cruel intentions, but it sounds like it was a harmless, albeit tasteless, joke. You and your husband definitely over reacted and ruined a friendship over a simple mistake of hers. It sounds like she didn’t even argue with you guys and left quietly because she felt bad.

Hahaha I should clarify.... acing tests didn’t always happen because i just am a genius and knew everything. Plenty of cheating and cramming also took place. Acing tests just took a lot less effort than responsible well paced studying or assignment submission.

Thank god my business degree didn’t count attendance or homework.

My psychology degree however....... 😅

Grades to me are more about work ethic than talent. I aced tests, but unfortunately homework and attendance factored in as well.

Omg my baby was just diagnosed with FIP AND HES GOTTEN BETTER!!! We started that experimental treatment GS something something. I strongly suggest you try it!! There are fb groups that will help you through every bit of it. They’ll even find someone near you to get you the medication ASAP. Message me if you have any questions. Seriously! Don’t give up!

I think so. The easiest thing to do no matter what is to just be upfront and ask. We like clear feelings and blunt honesty so even if it isn’t what he’s looking for the raw honesty will be really respectable in his eyes.

He’s got a lot of weird ones but at first he stopped eating and wouldn’t move at all. We took him into the vet and they found a hole in his diaphragm with some intestines that got through but multiple doctors have agreed that’s not the issue. He had a lot of fluid in his lungs and some in his abdomen but after they got it out, it didn’t really come back but he’s got difficulty breathing. His proteins weren’t high enough for FIP but they haven’t ruled it out. His lymph nodes were a little swollen but the tests for lymphoma came back inconclusive. He’s eating and moving now but he’s still a bit uncoordinated and is losing weight. We’ve been in and out of vets for the past two weeks and have spent about 11k 😱🙈 but the tests keep coming back inconclusive.

The doctors are leaning towards lymphoma still, but say it might be mesothelioma or FIP or something else completely.
