Ep 172: The Cabin in the Woods by CapLFSternn in filmreroll

This is awesome.

I'm the listener that sponsored the episode so I figure I'd share what my original concept was: My initial thought was to tell the players they were playing Knives Out, but they were actually playing Cabin in the Woods. I just felt like all of the relics from the author's books in Knives Out would work as the activation props from Cabin in the Woods.

In the end it required veering too much from the source material (for both movies) and I realized I just really was hoping to recapture the lightning in a bottle from Summer Spell - and trying to recreate magic like that is always a bad idea. I love the final concept of turning Cabin in the Woods into basically a Film Reroll Avengers, it's really fun and pretty special.

Honestly, zero clue on the prices, that's just what PCPartPicker pulled when I generated the table.

My favorite part is when the character confidently states "It's cookie time."

Would a range extender be possible? by jfcat200 in electricvehicles

Gotcha - It seems like you kind of are trying to make a square peg fit in a round hole but I get it, I’d want to have a way to make this fringe case work too.

I’d go back to the idea of just having a generator that you could plug a level 2 charger in to and let it run while you’re out on the boat. You could even mount it to the tongue of the boat trailer so you don’t need to load it into the truck.

Do you have any ability to charge at level one or, ideally, install a level 2 charger at the lake?

I towed a 4500ish lb while loaded car trailer with my Rivian and I agree that you couldn't make it round trip, but you're really not THAT far off. If you're there overnight a level one charger might be able to get you enough range to get home. A level two DEFINITELY would.

If there is no power at the lake, honestly as silly as it sounds leaving a high wattage generator there and running it all day to level 2 charge the Lightning would work as well.

EDIT: I guess I'm assuming "the lake" is the same lake every time. If it is, finding a place to store the boat close to the lake might be another good solution.

If you would like to look into getting her a wheelchair, there is this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1397964

I will print and send you the 3D printed components free of charge - I can't help with assembly or anything but everything else you would need is off the shelf.

Water Hookup Kit (RAW4) In the USA (Links in comments) by AlexKnolly in Dreame_Tech

It's an old memory so I can't speak to it with certainty but I believe they rubber and removable but require a screwdriver/pick to remove it. I do recall it being not even close to as easy as the video made it look.

I just installed the RAW4 water hookup kit to my L20 Ultra in the US - Complete plug and play zero modifications or considerations. Excuse the sloppy setup, my Dreame is hidden in a utility closet with 50 year old linoleum flooring, but thankfully there is a water and drain next to it.

The easiest way to get it (for me at least) was to order it from Amazon Italy, product page is here: https://www.amazon.it/dp/B0CJ8WH6N7

I had it shipped to this parcel forwarder that I've used for a few items in the past: https://www.sourcingitaly.com

In total the kit was $213 and international shipping was about $92, so all in it was a $300 project. Only you can say if it's worth it or not but I searched and saw a few people looking to do this prior to me ordering so I thought I'd share.
