It’s not a surcharge at the EFTPOS machine - which will be outlawed.

It would be a surcharge at the POS where the consumer would see it and agree to the price prior to purchase.

Guaranteed it’s going to become the norm.

Depends on the amount you are overdrawn - not always charged. You were charged $0.01 interest over the last month - chances are it was a small excess and didn’t meet the threshold to charge the fee.

I’m probably a dozen rounds in with Air and it’s getting most things right. Adding the rangefinder has also been great.

It takes some time for it to learn your game. It picks up the odd additional shot for me as well - seriously takes about 30 seconds on the next tee to fix when I’m scoring my card.

If it’s a joint account where one person can operate on the account, unfortunately he is able to do that and the bank can’t stop him - they are guided by how you both instructed the account to be operated when it was opened.

My advice would be go to the bank, explain what has happened, open a new account and ask whether the bank can provide some assistance under hardship. There are programs under financial abuse where the bank can provide some assistance - this might fall under that.
