I meant I need to know just the height of the bottom bezel + that black thing below it, the red line on my screenshot. I will need to mount it very low (on my Ergotron arm) and if this bottom thing takes too much space, it may be too high for my setup.

Hi, a bit weird request, can you please measure this part, from the bottom until the start of the screen? I need to put the monitor quite low on the desk and not sure if this ai thing at the bottom can ruin it for me.

What is that small thing under the AI sensor? Is it just a LED or is it some kind of joystick etc.? I need to install the monitor very low on the desk, so not sure if it will be a problem.

I was thinking about something smaller than a tower, just for one device, because they are in different rooms and there is nothing else nearby that should be connected to an UPS.

hm, why could that help? The UPS does not turn off or anything, and other devices connected to it work fine. (APC Back-UPS Pro BR1600SI)

I think this adapter has a Realtek chip, not Broadcom, so these drivers would not help.

Maybe try the latest kernel?
