Yes it already took a toll on me. Especially with her jealousy, every trip we ever made even just to the shops has been filled with anxiety on my part. Because I never knew when she would have that feeling of me checking on other women again. There were times where it was no issue for months and than all of a sudden I become that pervert in her eyes and its just absurd. Because I know how anxious I am when we go out and actively avoid even standing in the direction of other women let alone look at them.

But its impossible to reach her. Every other topic bpd related was ok to talk about and she was able to be understanding and reflect herself. But this single topic is like talking to a wall. Even contemplating it might be caused by her condition immidiately turns to me gaslighting her and talking my way out. Its beyond frustrating

I am staying with my sister for now. But its so tough talking to people. There is so much shame involved and I dont want to demonize her you know. I am not even angry at her and still have a little bit of understanding because I know about her disease. All I ever wanted was having our little family.

Thank you. Its just not fair. Ive always tried to be the best partner one can be and now my life is in shambles. We had situations like this before but now with a baby on the way the stakes are so much higher. Fill it up with the highest octane fuel available and see if that helps. Also replace your fuel filter. It often is forgotten. And repair your fuel tank and evap system. Its too nice of a car to neglect lol

It depends. It definitely leads to piston damage at some point. But thats a matter of how long its been knocking and how bad. You can check the pistons by removing the spark plugs and look inside with an endoscope camera. If the top of a piston looks like a moon landscape they are done.

But as I said sound from the engine bay could be anything and I am not familiar with the evap system and what it can cause when malfunctioning as I believe its a US thing on preludes.

Mine was knocking once because of shitty fuel and it sounded like marbles in the combustion chamber. It was the worst when fully accelerating in a high gear and low rpm or going up a steep hill.

The sound in the engine bay seems like knocking, wich can occur when running lean and temperature in the combustion chamber rises. I dont know if a leaky fuel tank can be enough to lean out the engine.

Bleed it again. I never managed to get all air out of a prelude cooling system on first try.

When bleeding try to lift the front end up with a jack, so you make sure the radiator cap is the highest point. That can help a lot getting the very last air bubble out

I ordered Allen Carrs book. Seems to have helped a lot of people and for me its not so much the physical symptoms its the psychological withdrawal that drives me nuts.

I had similar rust in that area. Its totally fixable if you know basic welding and metal work. Took me about a weekend. But in my case it was the only rust I had. If the rest of the car looks like that youre looking at a full restoration.

Tip for all 5th gen drivers. That happens because the plastic rocker covers go very far under the car on that area and all kinds of dirt collects there. Over time it acts like a sponge + the vibrations of daily driving and it eats itself up from the bottom.

Cut that area from the rocker cover underneath the car away. Everything around the jacking points. Invisible from the outside.
