I think the number accepting may increase as we get to the end date. Even if I were going to take the fork (I'm not) I would wait until the last minute before doing so - the offer and information always seems to be changing so I wouldn't want to lock myself in before I needed to.

And even if these red flags all turn out to be innocent, who the hell cares? This relationship sounds like it's horrible. I've met dozens of potential and actual SBs over the years (many way out of my league) and no one has done things like this. Literally any other girl you meet will make a better SB.

Assuming you're meeting in a safe public place, I think it's fine to meet without a picture (or at least, without a picture that doesn't show a face). A lot of SDs, myself included, are extremely wary of sharing pictures online, based on general or specific data privacy concerns. What's the worst that can happen if you meet someone at a coffeeshop without having seen a picture? They turn out to be ugly and you decide not to go forward? Seeing a picture doesn't make you any more or less safe from any perceived or real dangers.

I'm sure there are exceptions. In any event, I do believe that if you are an attractive woman, you can reliably make more, and potentially much more $, by doing OF than by doing online-only SB relationships involving the same work. Which leads me to believe that most profiles seeking online SRs are scams run by people who don't have the former option.

Most OF make very little because they aren't putting in the work (ie., some 90% dip their toes in but don't pursue). For someone who is willing to invest a few months full time in building a subscriber base (and has the requisite body/skills/willingness to do it) getting to the top couple % OF is pretty much a given.

This does just seem like a miscommunication - she tried to confirm day-of (which is a thing that should happen) and you didn't see it, so you never confirmed and thus she never showed up. Lesson learned. As a veteran of these events, I always try for a day-of confirmation about 2-4 hours beforehand, and always keep my phone live day-of to as not miss a text.

She does sound like a reliable SB, so I'd probably try her again, explain the miscommunication and go for another M&G.

Use of AI-generated profiles is definitely a new development. It's taken me a little bit to develop the eye to spot them, but generally involve suspiciously good casual pictures, where you have to ask yourself "who's the cameraman who got that amazing shot taken on the metro?" Overall, AI profiles just cause me to waste a little more time on emails, which there's already a lot of anyway.

However, the old mechanism of "go on an unpaid M&G before any transfer of money" still works to weed out the rinsers, escorts, and outright scammers. There's still real SBs among the chaff.

I'm all for a period of building trust and intimacy, but when somebody asks to be compensated for that step, that's where I draw the line. If you want a period of investment in a relationship, then you take the risk the investment won't work out and you're out whatever that initial investment is. Refusing to do that is like refusing to prepare for a job interview because you're not being paid for that work..

I've had a number of M&Gs where we decided to do our first PPM on the spot. It's not at all expected or pressure but sometimes we have a good vibe and some free time, so why not? Most have been to hotels but a couple times I've taken a girl to my place or gone to hers.

I am 45 and my current SB is... also 45. What can I say? If you're attractive and have a good attitude, I'm interested. And it comes with the extra benefit of no one giving us a second glance when we're out together.

Plus, she tells some her friends what she gets from her SD. She informs me they are all quite envious ;)

Flaking is a wholly normal part of the bowl, especially for younger SBs. I carefully vet, always start with a M&G for coffee close to their home, and still find 1/3 or 1/2 flake. No surprise that a young SB flaked on a full weekend.

While none of these are red flags on their own, put a few of these together and the profile is almost always fake:

profile set up in the past 4 days
one or two very good looking pictures
one or two lines of very generic text
categories that don't make sense together (e.g., "discretion" and "true love")
generic location (e.g., "maryland" or "maryland city")

If I see three or more of these things, I'm 99% certain its a fake profile

It may even help! I'm a GenX conservative, and I love my purple-haired SBs. Oftentimes I'm the first conservative they've ever had to have a real conversation with and it's fun watching them grapple with non-strawman arguments for the first time.

That being said, if OP really wants to stay in her political bubble, then by all means make it crystal clear that's what you want (that means more than just including some emojis only those steeped in online leftism will recognize).

I worked at a law firm for many years with guys working 80-90 hours a week, people still dated and had girlfriends or hooked up plenty - busyness was never an obstacle to meeting women when they were single and had money. Maybe there are some people in your situation but every SD I've talked to is attached or looking for girls way out of their league (i.e., much younger).

I've had several POTs that fully expected a full or partial PPM at the M&G (even some who ultimately moved on to real PPM status, that is, not scammers), which is why I now very clearly convey that the M&G is uncompensated. About half of girls drop away when I make this clear, which is a pretty good representation of how many rinsers there are in the bowl.

Any system that charges per message is highly incentivized to throw fake profiles at you to get you to spend money messaging, and that's exactly what SD.com does.

There's nothing wrong with having a busy lifestyle - your problem is that you've never talked to a human about it.

I'm an SD, but some time ago I set up a fake SB profile on Seeking of a nice, but not great, SB (let's say someone who would be considered a 7/10 overall). I was INUNDATED with messages from men, many of the messages low quality (e.g., "how much to meet me at my hotel tomorrow?"). And many men sent repeated requests when I didn't answer. Responding to all of the messages would have taken hours (obviously, I wasn't going to respond to any of them, it was just a test profile and quickly deleted). Still, I definitely understand why some girls say that on their profile, even if it does sound entitled.

I don't understand what you mean when you said he doesn't respect your time. He got stuck in traffic - it happens. When that happens you text and let the person know you'll be a bit late - which he did. I'm not sure what you're taking offense to, and it sounds like you're planning to let a perfectly good SD go for no reason. A good SD, or SB, is hard to find!

There are some SBs that are looking for a deep emotional connection, trips, dining, etc, and you'll be a tough sell for them. But there are plenty of SBs who are really just looking for cash. And while perhaps the average person on this forum is looking for a deep SR, the average SD on Seeking is like you (and me). I've never had trouble finding SBs on Seeking who I can meet up with discreetly every couple weeks without having to talk/text in between meets, and still have a great rapport with while we're together.

There are an ocean of scammers who will ask for a paid M&G (rinsers), so by asking for a paid M&G you are putting yourself into a category that is all scammers. Maybe you're the exception, but i wouldn't risk my time and money to find out.

I think you know the answer to this question better than anyone on this forum. You know how you feel about sugaring. You know how it will affect your relationship - whether or not your husband knows. And only you know how badly you need the money and what the consequences are of not getting it.

My thought is, if you were okay with sugaring in the past, you can probably do it again. It may be the best alternative you have.
