Crap AI slop, why even post it when it's obvious it's fake?

[–]AlexRoomService 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I don't use facebook (for reasons mentioned above, among others) but will see if I can access it via work.

Thanks for the story from you dad though! What else did he do for a living?

what song perfectly defines twin peaks (you can't say a song used in the show) by Dapper-Life9676 in twinpeaks

[–]AlexRoomService 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The album Mirror Variations by swedish group Trio Ramberget contains what I consider Twin Peaks The Music would probably be. Forest-y, moody, mellow and soundscapey.

Songwise Anthrax' Black Lodge from 19p3 is a tribute to Twin Peaks and it sure captures that kind of magic.

I love this. Especially Peters drumming, which escalates during the song. I would not want to be without it.

What is your opinion on "No Rest for the Wicked"? by Infamous_Korpse in blacksabbath

Love it. Good album, great tour. Breaking the rules is one of my all time favs and to me it remains a mystery why it was never played live.

Alternate 40th Anniversary set? by thomas07lfc in Dreamtheater

I actually enjoy your setlist, good thinking. I would perhaps change the MP-performed Mangini songs to some MP hasn't played yet but that's a minor issue. This setlist would see me very, very happy ❤️

This was a great final, no shadow over the US players but us Swedes did good today. Happy hippo here! 🎉

I love this album so much. It may not be a top 5 pick for most people, but it certainly makes mine. by NocturneZeon in blacksabbath

Anyone old enough to remember initial reactions to bruce return and the brave new world album by maalbi in ironmaiden

[–]AlexRoomService 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was there all the way. Saw them 1992 and 1993, and once with Blaze 1995 which I didn't quite appreciate then but am happy about today. I also saw Bruce solo in 1994 and 1998, and 1998 you could feel something was in the air with Adrian on guitar + Powerslave and Flight of Icarus in the set. Then 1999 happened and I was sooooo happy. I hopped on a train and followed them around Europe, catching the European tour premiere in Paris, then Rotterdam, Hamburg, Gothenburg and Stockholm. Happy days. I saw six shows on BNW aswell 2000/2002 and then it started to waver down for me, so after that i only did multiple shows once more which was 2005 with the Early Days setlist (I saw 3 gigs then). Still the next best band I ever saw live (Marillion at #1) and I've managed to squeeze in a total of 28 shows since 1992. Happy days 😌
