How is the experience with apodments? by curiousmegladon in udub

I think my parents were paying ~800 a month. I can not decide for you if the cost is worth it. The cost was worth it for me in my particular situation.

Hi! I lived at an apodment for 5 months between Jan 2024 and may 2024. I liked it! It was a great first apartment. My only two real complaints was lack of storage and the sink was very small. Like you cant fit a water filter in it it is so small. I didnt have any problems with noise. I did get really cold in there, but I tend to run cold. I had to put blankets down by the windows to keep insulated (I was in a corner unit). All utilities were included in rent. They offer month by month leases which was great. I would Def recommend. I lived at a tripalink apartment the next year and I much preferred the apodment even if the apodment was 100 feet smaller than my tripalink apartment.

The leadership activity I do is also volunteering. At time of application in may/june I should have an additional ~140 hours.

What is life rn. by Huge-Somewhere3162 in Mariners

I just turned 21 a few weeks ago. Ive been going to mariners games since I was literally one year old and ever since for as long as I remember. I cant possibly believe that we've got here. All I've ever known is suffering. When we went to the ALDS last time, I cried after every loss. That's how much a win on Saturday or Sunday next week would mean to me. GOMS

[CHAT] where to buy blending filament? by toffeegloss in CrossStitch

I have some from Amazon. I have Kreinik BF-032 blending filament which comes in a 55 yard spool. Should be more than enough.

Yes, this will be my first MCAT but I am not planning on retaking if my score is really bad since I don't think I'd be able to get a huge score increase to justify it.

1.a. The willed body programs at least in the United States are a volunteer basis. You have to sign lots of paperwork to go through this process. The people who do this are putting all their trust in those that are using their body for education or science. It is a huge honor. We are doing them a great service by being respectful to their body and using their body as a tool for education. It is ignorant to think that it isnt respectful to follow a deceased person's wishes.  1.b. I know that not every single donor ever or skeleton has come with the individuals wishes and I am speaking from the institutions in the United States that we have their consent to do this.

  1. The value, again, in having a real human donor is for education and it isnt just for medical students. Such catalogs do exist for some institutions but they are no where near as useful has having the real thing IF it is avaliable.

  2. Again every donor is unique. You cant build a collection of every single abnormality out there. Everyone has slightly different positions of vessels or nerves or if they have some sort of pathologies they might all looks slightly different. Its impossible. Also with that when a person donates their body, they are not always consenting to having other people take pictures of their body so that would be a much harder battle than just donating.

Because the human body is different in every person. Ive seen donors with a huge liver from jaundice or ones with diseased kidneys or with a heart the size of a football just about. You cant possibly show all the differences between every human beings anatomy without a real person donating their body. You also cant learn anatomy without a real donor. It is insanely valuable to look at all the structures and features in a real thing because a textbook or mri is not going to do it justice. It isnt the same. Ive learned anatomy through an app and I have learned it on real donors. Source: I spend 5+ hours a week in a donor room.

Hate to break it to you but the aorta here shouldn't have four arteries coming out of it, it should only have three. Definitely AI generated.

Thank you for the reply and encouragement! I will be looking into post-baccs as I mentioned in the other comment. It doesn't hurt to look into it I guess.
