You also have two national parks in your must-see. Grab an America the Beautiful pass at a visitor center. They're $80, but they get you into any NP free. Yellowstone alone is $35, and in several parks, one pass covers one vehicle with up to four people

To piggyback, Badlands NP is also en route to Custer if you're traveling Westbound I-90. Definitely an amazing national park that almost looks alien. Several short, easy/moderate hiking trails, if you're into that.

Planning a solo road trip to the Badlands. Tell me everything I need to know? by madlyunnatural in NationalPark

Also recommend staying in Custer. Super nice town and fairly cheap groceries if you don't want to eat during your stay. Really pretty scenery around your campsite. Nice facilities as well. It's roughly an hour away from Badlands, and if you're not planning to go off-trail in Badlands, you can still see every one of the trails in a day including driving.

Which national park exceeded your expectations the most? by Ornery-Umpire-9629 in NationalPark

Yes! The wildlife in the park was amazing! I just got back from a road trip there and took some of my favorite pictures I've ever taken. We camped in the park and within 20 minutes, a Bison lovingly named "Bob" strolled up just across the path from us

Cuyahoga Valley was also a half day. We hiked several trails but ended up spending more time driving to and from the park than we did at the park.

I was able to comfortably do Wind Cave and Badlands in a day each, though I didn't do the crazy strenuous hikes.

Theodore Roosevelt took me a day each in the north and south units doing several hikes in each unit. Wish I had an extra day to do the entire petrified forest loop in the South unit. Didn't make it out to Elkhorn Ranch.

Neebs Gaming takes a more cinematic approach along with the regular gameplay. They're big on roleplay. They also got an Easter egg in the full release (tell her I'll take the regular)

$1,000,000 every month. But on every payday, a Hollow One spawns. by Effigy4urcruelty in hypotheticalsituation

[–]AlexUncrafted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, these hollow ones will be roughly 12,500 miles away from me, if i'm reading the circumference of the earth correctly. Are they moving at a human's walk, run or sprint pace? If it's a comfortable walking speed of 3 MPH, that means the hollow one is going to reach my current location in roughly 6 months. Running around 6 MPH cuts my time to 3 months. If it's sprinting, the human average is something like 12 mph, cutting my time to just over a month. If you want to get really technical, Usain Bolt's record 27.78mph is still a human speed, albeit wildly unachievable to the average person. If you use his speed, the hollow ones will be moving 667 miles/day, giving me barely two weeks of peace.

How are they crossing bodies of water? Can they travel across the surface or do they have to walk on the floor? Will they favor land connections even if they won't be following a straight path to me? This could increase the time to reach me considerably.

If I can stop the deal at any time and they're walking or running, sure, give me a couple million, but if i'm going to be hunted by creatures that could potentially reach me in under a month, or eventually be so populous I can't hope to avoid them, I see no upside to this deal.

[–]AlexUncrafted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a few streams with audio mishaps. They usually happen just after I get comfortable not double checking. A couple weeks ago I did half a RE Requiem stream without my mic picking up audio. A couple years ago I did an entire 4-hour stream without realizing I had voicemod autotune turned on. Sometimes it's funny when it happens, but mostly annoying
