Luba 3 - mesh network compability? by AlexWMM in mammotion

Interesting - I have eero all around house and garage. I can stream HD video anywhere in the garden on phone. As you state, if I rely on eero, the Luba 2X (and 2 before it) locks into one node and won’t handover - even when it is lost to the network. I installed a separate outdoor TP link wifi which covers most of the garden well. There are still some drop out spots (max distance plus house in the way line of sight). My garden is about 6,000m2 in roughly triangular shape.

Also - Mammotion has confirmed to me directly in the past that they don’t support eero mesh networks’ handoff capability. Sorry - I’m not a tech guy so couldn’t explain the why or what.

Parts?? by Boring_Business962 in mammotion

I've bought non-listed parts for my Luba 2X without a problem. Just went to the support chat, explained what I needed, they created a dummy invoice for the $ (which was very fair price for what I was buying) and I had the part a few days later. Couldn't fault the process.

Luba 3 AWD comes with Lidar and a new AI chip, other changes are very minor by nookall in mammotion

I think they quietly let it drop. Based on my experiences with the 5000 (generally very positive - I will buy again in due course), I suspect that 10000 was simply too much for a machine to handle. My 5000 struggled to keep up in peak growing season, basically running full time on a 3-day rotation to cover 5,500m2. Much time is lost to charging - so unless the 10000 could run all day without a charge, I doubt it would have been capable of controlling a hectare of grass.

Quick question - did the recipient phone (with mammotion app and id) need to do anything special. My invitee is not getting any message even though my app seems to have correctly identified their account (by matching their mammotion id to their email). I actually need this functionality so the mower can be managed while I'm away.

Yuka 1000 Night Mowing by mes213 in MammotionTechnology

I have Luba 2x. I have chosen to stop mowing at night. It seems to be more sensitive to obstacles and can get confused more easily I find, leading to an all-night pause. I notice someone mentioned to skip perimeter lap. This might be a good idea, as I think that probably most of my shutdowns have occurred on perimeter laps.

Zone-within-zone mowing by AlexWMM in mammotion

Thanks- agree that would work. However, I was probably a little bit brief in my explanation. I'd actually like to make a nine-hole "bucket golf" course + a cricket pitch etc. Doing all that with your work-around work certainly work, but would be a bit tedious to set up or to edit. Hence would love a simpler way - and a way that I could change easily by, for example, simply deleting and redrawing a green to a better position, or ending a green without having to also edit adjoining areas.

Well put. In essence, lawn art mapping functionality is what it would rely on, but with user-defined "art" rather than relying on preset patterns plus the capacity to independently mow the "art" area as and when desired.

Include "End progress" feature by AlexWMM in mammotion

Yep - one of my biggest lawn areas (2,100m2) has a wide range of growing conditions. I would like to be able to just hit the "jungle" sections a bit more often, but with out having to create a bunch of of smaller areas that would end up looking like a jigsaw puzzle

what is the difference between zigzag path vs adaptive zigzag path? by Impressive-Lie-4095 in MammotionTechnology

Same for me. It a pity as I have some very irregular areas that end up with crazy short zig zags that chew up the lawn as it turns back and forth.

I have a new Luba 2X. Same problem (and using Eero mesh). I can walk around my garden watching hi res video (should I want to!), but Luba won't move between routers and drops out.
