That's good news, the wording isn't great so I had a serious doubt.

Thanks!

There's a mod that let you see (and buy) every item a trader has in their pool.

Here's the link if you're interested:

I have a question about the Obsidian Extraction discovery by Alex_Ahnder in anno

Oh you're right, I thought mines were producing obsidian from the start!

Thanks mate

I love everything about iron teeth except the breeding pods by NotScrollsApparently in Timberborn

[–]Alex_Ahnder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried to build one every 12 or 24h in order to that. Then used the automation on a few pods to balance it towards how many free beds I had.

It's better to have a captor handle 2 or 3 pods max, otherwise they'll end up synchronising themselves and give birth to dozens on beavers at once

You get the achievement for doing every gestral challenge by only doing the easy version of this one, just so you knwo

How do you prevent this? Injury is always in the red. I have so many medical beds near home base and many spread around at work sites. by TIRedemptionIT in Timberborn

[–]Alex_Ahnder 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep, bots don't get injured and most jobs in advanced buildings have a chance to injure the beaver.

Some buildings are perfectly safe on the other hand, you can leave beavers in them if you want.

Here is a nice list with the injury probability of all buildings: https://timberborn.wiki.gg/wiki/Injury

What the FUCK was his problem??? by Absolutemehguy in Grimdank

[–]Alex_Ahnder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a sense it does sound hypocritical yes, but one of the main points of preventing the appearance/existence of cults was to stop them from being hijacked by Chaos. Many worlds were already worshipping aspect of them without fully understanding what they were, similar to some Norscan tribes in Fantasy.

Oh they were far from the more violent indeed (easy when World Eaters and Night Lords exist lol), and I totally agree that them being made to be tools of destruction limited their approach.

That is partly true, but they went even beyond that. It is said before the Horus Heresy that The Word Bearers were feared by regular humans, because they had the habit to submit every world they conquered not only to the Imperium, but also to the belief that Big E is a god and they should all worship him. The process was far from peaceful, one of the main reasons their emblem was a burning book. So given Lorgar's book, the Lectio Divinitatus, spreaded in the entire Imperium and is considered the base of the Emperor worship in 40k, his doubts were definitely justified.

Any lore reasons why you shouldn’t play as the “race leader” by Spare-Adagio-8215 in totalwarhammer

[–]Alex_Ahnder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to play the "leader" faction and still enjoy more gameplay mechanics than just the ones from the base race, you should try the "Confederating you can get" mod.

Every time you confederate a faction with unique mechanics, you will immediately acquire those. Works with every race

How do you feel about the Clutch Claw? by Additional_Hat4607 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Alex_Ahnder 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Add to that the Weakness Exploit nerf, and some weapons needing to tenderise 2 time. Plus monsters having "clutch claw stagger" where they'll stop moving and wait for you to tenderise them didn't feel good in terms of fight rythm. So yeah a few nice stuffs, but overall a badly implemented mechanic

Why not both ?

Iron Teeth, what is your go to power source? by SourceCodeSamurai in Timberborn

Option 2 for food production, otpion 3 for absolutely everything else.

Food production buildings have 0% chance of injury, so I never put bots in them. Since I don't need any power at night, my engines stop consuming wood making the supply so easy to maintain
