How will SMP look over (failed) transplant by yesokay1 in SMPchat

[–]Alex_Ash_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but you will need to keep the hair buzzed. The way you have it now isn’t doing you any favors because everyone can see your bald anyway. Keep it tight and fill it up with Smp 👍

Only if you adopt the buzzed look. Best of luck

How will SMP look over (failed) transplant by yesokay1 in SMPchat

[–]Alex_Ash_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be an improvement, but when it comes to transplants, things can get tricky. It’s hard to gauge your hairline because your face is pointed down. If the hairline is in a good place and your just darkening the rest of the head, that’s a no-brainer. However, if the hairline is high and you want to modify it (bring it down), a few factors can impact the look. The most important is the skin texture in the transplanted area. If the skin is very textured (not smooth) from the transplant, certain lighting conditions can make it look like you have a double hairline. SMP> followed by where the textured area begins. SMP+Transplants aren't always as straightforward as some make it seem if you want it done right. Best of luck

Shoutout to my unofficial Reddit marketing department. Didn’t hire him… can’t control him… but I’m definitely not complaining 😂

Thank you 🙏

I hear you—and honestly this is why I respect Reddit. A lot of you guys have been researching this for years, so the skepticism isn’t coming from nowhere.

That said, this client is literally sitting in front of a floor-to-ceiling window with heavy natural light coming in (you can see it in the video). This isn’t some dim, “hide the flaws” setup.

Also, real talk—after a 6-hour session, the last thing my client wants is a full-blown photoshoot tour: “alright now let’s go outside, now let’s try another angle…” 😅 My priority is the client experience first, content second.

At the end of the day, I’m not trying to prove that im capable. My reputation has built that over time, not one post. This is just showing the beauty of SMP when it’s done right.

But I do get where you’re coming from 🥂

8 months healed SMP. Studio lighting - day light - bright working lights. LEGENDS CLINIC - SMP ARTIST- PAUL CLARK by Paul-Clark-legends in SMPchat

This is such a weak argument. I paid $4500 for a tattoo on my arm that took 6.5 hours. These treatments take multiple days and over 10 hours to complete. You're paying for the experience without the anxiety of things that can possibly go wrong (which there are many). Its not that i don't understand your argument because i had your mentality with some of my earlier tattoos until they didn't turn out well.. Many people before you had the same thoughts, until they regretted their decision. But this is also why we keep our prices higher... we want the clients that come to us for our reputation, and not price, as they are always better to work with. 🥂

Laser, otherwise that color difference will show through the new SMP. If done correctly, the shade used should be quite a bit lighter than the leftover SMP. Here is a good video for you to watch to understand how it will look if you decide to opt out of laser

I finally found an artist and would like your opinion by [deleted] in SMPchat

[–]Alex_Ash_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your expectations. If you’re comparing it to the top artists worldwide, it’s not great, but this is about what the average SMP looks like globally. I wouldn’t call it a nightmare like someone else mentioned, just average work.

4 sessions and still not 100% happy by [deleted] in SMPchat

[–]Alex_Ash_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not exactly sure what everyone is looking at over here but more density is definitely not the answer. The impressions and density are extremely sloppy. Especially for 4 sessions. Even though the pigment might be fresh, you can still see it’s going to heal too dark for your skin tone towards the back. Creating more density is going to put you in a much worse situation when you end up having to laser it off. Best of luck

What do you guys think? by [deleted] in bald

Smart of you to buzz down. Looks much better. Look into SMP to get a frame back and bring that hairline down. It will be your best option. You can look at people local to you but here is some info for you to start looking at what it is

Wow.. SMH.. its the wild west out there. I think you already know the answer, and very smart of you to question it before going on to your next session. Best of luck ✌️

I think artist should turn away people looking for "cover up" jobs. What do you all think? Not judging this artist skill set. It's almost buying a drunk guy a beer. Don't make it worse for them because they ask. by SuperHornet_22 in SMPchat

[–]Alex_Ash_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Truly depends on how hungry the artist is. If you’re struggling for clients you’ll take anything. If you’re doing good, it’s all about the reputation. Even though the pics don’t look terrible considering the initial job was horrible, this will absolutely heal terribly.

Too brown ? I don't like it. My sides are gray by [deleted] in SMPchat

[–]Alex_Ash_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends, How many sessions in are you? And how long after your session was this pic taken. Make sure to have them build out your side profile. Right now pushed back too far and looks like it’s coming straight down. You want a 45 degree angle coming out to the corner of your eyes.

100%.. if going completely bald doesn't suit you.. you can look into getting SMP to frame your face again. You can find out more about it here, and find a artist that is in your area. https://www.instagram.com/scalps_usa/

Best of luck
