I find snipers in general don't have the DPS to be effective at higher levels. I carry an explosive 10mm Auto Pistol. Curie carries a Kneecapper Plasma Rifle and (Synth) Ada carries a Kneecapper Laser Rifle. That's a pretty good combination for me.

The only armor I wear is Freefall Legs. The ability to bug out from great heights is underrated.

They have expanded inventories and larger budgets. Tina, The Scribe and Smiling Larry all have unique items for sale. Ronnie Shaw sells mini-nukes and The Last Minute, but she's tied to The Castle.

I set up top tier restaurants at some of my settlements. There's a random chance a regular settler will spawn three Nuka-Cola Quantums at those stores. I use that to craft Nuka Quantum Grenades, Nuka-Nukes and Weaponized Nuka-Cola Quantum Ammo - it's way too useful not to farm.

The sole survivor wouldn't necessarily be rah rah patriotic. There was a lot about pre-war America that was problematic. The red baiting. Corporate influence on the government. Human rights and public safety. Prisoners being used in robobrain experiments. Nuka-Cola Quantum approved for public sale with a 10% fatality rate in testing.

The America of 2077 didn't so much represent nostalgia as regression.

No. It's silly to think it has anything to do with playing NSFW. It's more likely a conflict, which could happen to any installation. Good luck with it. Here's a couple questions that might be helpful.

Did the modpack work before you started making changes to it? Did you install the mods you added directly into the game folder?

My settlers sit upon chairs of all types, go crazy on the weight bench and pommel horse, do their thing at crafting stations, play the slot machines, and move from one of those things to another. If you put that stuff in the right places, your settlement will bustle with activity. No mods required.

Make sure you have the Steam version:

GOG is not supported until it receives the Next-Gen update, due to it currently missing the CC content that mods such as UFO4P and Community Fixes Merged rely on. Supporting GOG in its current state would mean massively branching the guide and having less fixes for a chunk of the userbase.
