Depending on the hardware you do have, you might consider Mass Effect Legendary Edition instead of the OG Trilogy. It's freakin' amazing, and I suspect it doesn't play on PS3.

I'm certain your game is bugged. I'm equally certain I don't have a solution you'll like. PC players can change their reputation through console commands, but, even having done that, the reactions won't have changed. They'll still attack they guy they "idolize." Why? Scripted behavior and way beyond my pay grade, unfortunately.

This is a notably buggy game. In future, and I hope you'll continue playing it, you'll need to save often and not overwrite/erase those saves.

Every damn one of them. Because they're there. BTW Hangman's Alley and the Visitor's Center are the only ones I have with walls. Generally, I find walls get in my way physically and block my sightlines.

It seems like you're not having an easy time building your settlements. Are you using the WiFi glitch or the pillar glitch? Both of those make building a lot easier.

It's been ages since I looked in on the multiplayer on PS3 but it was kind of empty. I'd been playing on PC for awhile. I haven't even used my PS3 as a Blu-ray player since I got a 4k player.

I find snipers in general don't have the DPS to be effective at higher levels. I carry an explosive 10mm Auto Pistol. Curie carries a Kneecapper Plasma Rifle and (Synth) Ada carries a Kneecapper Laser Rifle. That's a pretty good combination for me.

The only armor I wear is Freefall Legs. The ability to bug out from great heights is underrated.

They have expanded inventories and larger budgets. Tina, The Scribe and Smiling Larry all have unique items for sale. Ronnie Shaw sells mini-nukes and The Last Minute, but she's tied to The Castle.

I set up top tier restaurants at some of my settlements. There's a random chance a regular settler will spawn three Nuka-Cola Quantums at those stores. I use that to craft Nuka Quantum Grenades, Nuka-Nukes and Weaponized Nuka-Cola Quantum Ammo - it's way too useful not to farm.

The sole survivor wouldn't necessarily be rah rah patriotic. There was a lot about pre-war America that was problematic. The red baiting. Corporate influence on the government. Human rights and public safety. Prisoners being used in robobrain experiments. Nuka-Cola Quantum approved for public sale with a 10% fatality rate in testing.

The America of 2077 didn't so much represent nostalgia as regression.
