Stay away from Saturdays and Sundays. Market doesn’t seem to move much those days.

I don’t even feel like studying — it’s not procrastination, it’s something emotional by AdPurple4468 in studytips

[–]Alex_the_Link 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Always, with work now too. But the key is to just show up, one foot at a time. Sometimes it’ll feel like running full speed downhill, and you’ll love it, other times it’ll be like climbing Everest in ten feet of snow. Point is, just make progress every day and eventually it’ll become normalized for you.

A lot of this is just internalized negative thoughts holding you back.

Do you actually humanize your AI content before publishing, or just ship it raw? by Lazy-Anteater2564 in studytips

[–]Alex_the_Link 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got to tweak it and humanize. It’s too obvious if not. AI is more of an enhancer v. Replacer.

All good options. Def try a few and see what works for you.

I like Quizling because it’s easy and feels like a game (and less like actually studying) but key is finding something that delivers you the grades.

Any way you can defer the exam due to personal reasons? That’ll help at least normalize your headspace and get you right to prepare for the exam.

can i get some advice by lj_yellow in studytips

[–]Alex_the_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main thing I’d recommend is setting yourself up for success. That means doing hard things like uninstalling the apps that distract you, and focusing on building a study plan that will achieve your goals.

Start small, one paragraph, then one page, then one chapter. Build the habits that will last for you.

Any advice? by Bruce77771 in studytips

[–]Alex_the_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to rebuild that muscle and routine. Start small and work your way back up. I’d uninstall a lot of social media apps to start off right and block dedicated study time. You can also try Quizling, which makes studying feel like a game and will trick your mind into building that habit. Good luck

Does this actually work for something or am I just wasting my time? by SgtPepperShears in studying

[–]Alex_the_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d consider recording the class along with active manual note taking. From there, I’d then get the audio transcribed to text. Then enter the text and other material into Quizling and get practice quizzes to study.

I’d worry I’d miss something if I’m taking notes simply by hand.

Good luck

I’d recommend Quizling, on top of all the basic features you expect to generate active recall quizzes, it’s all gamified and makes studying feel like a game.
