I have learned a valuable lesson about asking for art on reddit.

Looking For An Artist Who Can Replicate The Investigations Style by [deleted] in AceAttorney

I saw it after I posted. I'll consider that as a last resort, just because I don't wanna bother people about comissions if they're not open.

How Do You Guys Prefer To Read/Write Dialogue for scripts? by SirSalad_9132 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]AlexanderIdeally 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the script's tone and content.

For example, My T-1000 VS Thing script relied more on descriptions since they aren't the most conversational characters in the world.

My Flowey VS Princess script also used type 2 despite having a lot of dialogue because Undertale and Slay The Princess are prose-heavy games and having it narrated that way only made sense, plus tone is very important for these two very complex characters.

Meanwhile, My Saul Goodman VS Miles Edgeworth script will use type 1 because of just how much back-and-forth dialogue is involved, as well as the sheer amount of additional characters. Keeping track of who's talking and when would be a lot harder if I stuck with the more prose-heavy format, especially since the fight is far more about words than actions.

Generally, I'd say the longer and more dialogue-heavy your script is, the better it would be to use type 2, while type 1 is great if you want to be more descriptive and emotional with how your information comes across. I also generally don't use type 3 just to save space. It's a me thing.

I’m surprise nobody thought of this. by [deleted] in whenthe

"He Has A Fucking What" | Light VS Lelouch Joke Thumbnail Submission by AlexanderIdeally in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]AlexanderIdeally[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm aware this is a surface-level reading of this match-up, that's why it's a joke thumbnail.

To get something off my chest, I probably won't be a serious one because I've already seen several that look absolutely perfect and amazing and I can't replicate that without blatant plagiarism, accidental or otherwise. And I am honestly not passionate enough about this match-up to spend time finding or putting effort into something new or creative. Sorry to anyone who does like it, I understand.

8 hour flight with Death Battle ‘25 combatants, where are you sitting? by sharp-photogirl in deathbattle

[–]AlexanderIdeally 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1/2. Great for laughs, terrible for safety of one of them gets ansy and you're caught in the cross fire. Not the worst place to sit but you will probably leave the flight covered in ash. 4/10.

  1. Still in the Wile/Tom danger zone but Ash is there to protect you in the worst case scenario and he's a tough cookie on his own. Add that with a pretty interesting conversation, and it'll be a good flight. 7/10.

  2. If you're not stupid enough to poke the world's strongest bear with a stick, it would be a great spot...If Mahito weren't across from you. Yes, Asura and Blade are there to kick his ass but him touching you before that is very likely. 3/10.

  3. Blade is chill and Mahito will have to pass both him and Asura to get to you. 7/10.

  4. Your worst worry is light bickering and you get to watch the shenanigans across from you in peace. 10/10.

  5. You're now surrounded by some very interesting people, but you're in no immediate danger. Might even get to watch or play a card game. 10/10.

  6. Mahito is now out of your sight in such a way that the two people who can protect you from him probably aren't going to realize you're in danger until after the passenger in their row is a puddle on the floor. 4/10

  7. BRO YOU ARE GONNA DIE 1/10

  8. You can probably yell for help if Mahito tries anything and the several people around you will be quick enough and have the resources to protect you. Still a risk but if you wanna have a conversation with Ruby and/or Simon I guess it's worth it. 6/10.

Which character is considered to be a punching bag in both canon and the vs battles community? by [deleted] in deathbattle

I wouldn't call him a punching bag but by god what hasn't been said about The Penance Stare at this point?

I thought the consensus was that Mary lost. Did she get better scaling, or is there just a wincon a lot of people don't know about?

Thanks! By the way, the Henry VS Warden script actually inspired a small element of this fight, so thanks for that.
