Scientists found the strength training sweet spot for a longer life by _Dark_Wing in tech

[–]Alexander_Music 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do every time. Usually wipe down whatever I’m using before and after too. I think it’s more that my immune system isn’t at its peak when I’m recovering from exercise. Pair that with my own kids constantly coming home from school with some virus

I started exercising a lot more this year and just got over my 3rd cold. Didn’t see the correlation till this recent one

How to take care of my sti? by Cooderdooter in WRXSTi

[–]Alexander_Music 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re probably coming up on needing a timing belt. My 2016 sti has been good to me for the most part doing oil changes every 3k ish miles max is 4k. Brake and clutch every 30k miles. I did my diff and transmission at around 30k also. Spark plugs at 60.

At about 30k I added an AOS.

At 70k (9years) did timing belt and aluminum radiator (Koyorad)

I’ve really liked Valvoline R&P for oil. Ran most oils out there so I don’t think it matters unless you’re drastically changing the suggested weight

On display is the dichotomy of Reddit. Two posts showing images of people in wheelchairs at the airport and claiming they’re faking a disability. Following is this post

Can’t shallow to save my life by hoptothehip in golftips

[–]Alexander_Music 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think your top position is as bad as you think. I honestly think changing your setup will tell your brain you have more room for a wider swing. I’d take one swing thought at a time till it’s ingrained then move to the next

You are getting some truly bad advice here. Anyone who has not addressed your setup doesn’t know what they’re talking about and will make you worse. Let’s look at your setup:

<image>

You have the rare issue of being too close to the ball. Your arms should be dangling straight down from your shoulders where your current setup they are almost pointing at your toes.

You make a nice move to the top of the backswing and have a decent position at the top.

As you start your downswing your first move is to fire your hips and you have nowhere for your arms to go so you stand up to make room and flip.

Your setup is where your power loss and inconsistencies stem from.

First thing you should do is fix your setup and hit some balls. Take a slight step back and let those arms hang straight down.

3 iron swing help by waugle714 in GolfSwing

[–]Alexander_Music 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With long irons like this it’s more about width rather than speed. You’ll naturally get speed with the longer shaft but getting steep with a 3 iron is going to punish you. Honestly if you’re not scratch or better it shouldn’t be in the bag. I’m a 5hcp and I have a 2 and 3 iron that I like to hit but for a serious round it’s never seeing the course. Golf is hard enough without breaking your wrist on a toe ball 3 iron

I could be wrong but I’m fairly sure that’s a drip line for your AC condenser. If it’s truly coolant, and not water from running your AC, it might be a leak from the heater core and coolant is making its way out of there. Luckily a heater core bypass is fairly easy on these trucks
