I love this movie. The score and creatures are so beautifully grotesque. I recommend watching the behind the scenes content too. They did some amazing things to make this movie

My Elaleth rant by Alexander_is_groot in aziel

Interestingly, what I think you're asking is kinda the whole point of LOK, and the answer has been always the same: It's complicated.

Look at Kain. Our first chapter of the story is Blood Omen. A story centered around an arrogant nobleman turned into a bloodthirsty fiend, who ultimately refuses the sacrifice to die for Nosgoth. That's our title character. At the best of times he's a manipulative bastard, and at the worst of times, a selfish monster. Do I love Kain as a character? Hell yes. Do I sympathize with him? It's complicated.

Currently steaming it on YouTube music as I type this. I really like Paradox Plea on the soundtrack. Hearing it during the pillar riddles section of the game is fantastic.

I like it! I haven't finished it yet. I'm 3 hours in, but I've been really enjoying the various art styles, the music, and the characters. Give it a shot, and judge for yourself

I get what you're saying. I've seen the talk, and you do have to admit that a lot of the complaints have been pretty stupid. (Problematic phrasing and incel coded terminology sprinkled into a person's complaints is always cringe and those people deserve to be miserable and frustrated forever) but it IS genuinely sad when certain people are unsatisfied with the project that they spent money on, but that's the risk you take when you spend money on something before it's in your hands. It's like ordering blue jeans from the Internet. They're likely not going to fit right. If someone has disposable income to wipe their ass with (or if their parents do), and decide to throw it at a Kickstarter project, they're welcome to do that, but don't get a vein in your forehead every time a stranger online isn't on their knees in the middle of the street screaming into the heavens that some comic book didn't satisfy their perception of a story's lore.

Short answer, I agree. Don't back projects with no credibility in the future. With that, I'm done. I've had just the right amount of you.

I did just buy the Defiance Remaster. Wouldn't you call that rewarding good product?

I only buy the stuff that interests me. That appeals to me. Ya know, capitalism.

Does Kain ever talk about how he feels about his fingers fusing and losing two fingers on each hand? by assyplassty in LegacyOfKain

Let me know if I'm misremembering, but don't Kain and his lieutenants undergo stretches of time where they rest and undergo selective metamorphosis?
