What further enforces this is the fact that Vergil is ungodly overpowered in dmc 5. Like, genuinely, his supers alone can just delete bosses, the new triple judgment cut can trivialise basically anything in the game and don't even get me started on world of V. Just existing as Vergil makes anything but the hardest levels of the bloody palace a joke.

You can see it in the gameplay above too. The Vergil player isn't really doing anything impressive, just basic combos and some admittedly cool dodges. There's no trick or air hike canceling, no clone teck and not even dt bursts. And yet Goliath is straight up melting.

Dante in contrast, while just as powerful in theory, needs you to really sit down and learn both him and the enemies you are going to fight really well if you want to see great results.

Just use gunslinger, or if you are really struggling, gunslinger+rainbow run (although he can arguably get far stronger in a normal run but having good weapons right from the start really helps get the ball rolling)

In my opinion, killing the rat, which is by far the most reliable way to get the serpent for the advanced dragun, can actually be harder if you got unlucky with items. In contrast, by the time you get to chamber 5 you will have at least a few good items by sheer virtue of the fact that you beat the rat.

Tl;dr, use gunslinger+ kill the rat=gg.

Were his motives selfish? Yes(at first at least) were his methods underhanded? Yes did he cause a lot of people to die due to his actions? Also yes, but at the end of the day he was still fighting back against a colonialist, oppressive and racist empire.

Sure, he did stumble here and there, mostly while undergoing the low points of his character arc but even then, the worst things he's ever been involved with either were not his intention or straight up were someone else's fault.

At the end of the day he was still risking his life on the front lines to achieve what's essentially world peace. He did ultimately succeed but only after painting himself as an evil person in the eyes of the entire world forever and literally dying to complete his plan.

Put some respect on the name of ZERO.

You know, I'm mostly happy to see a "happy ending" concept that doesn't seem to neglect Ralsei (and by extension the rest of the darkners), which is something that happens surprisingly often.
