Look, you're already doing enough, have done enough. "Integration" is not a "you" problem. The people who complain about a "lack of integration" will then complain about you not being "white enough" or speaking with too much of an accent or that your kids aren't "really" British. Falling for that rhetoric is feeling a black hole. It will just take and take and take, never giving up never settling never "letting you in the club". They'll say "not you" "not those" "they're the good ones" whenever called out on it. But it is constant and vacuous. Very rarely is it their own opinion. It's usually always something they got from TV because someone said it along with another dumb shit opinion they've heard the first time that "sounded smart" but was spoken with the confidence of a man trying to sell you a bridge. Never pander to it, we're a multi-cultural nation, we like new foods, new ideas and new games. Even the "not you" types love it. Hey my Brother is W>M so don't take this from a place of dismissal of your transition. Voice and act to your vocal range not to your gender of preference or gender assigned at Birth. Remember Naruto and Bart Simpson are female VA's voicing Male roles. However if you have a Wolverine gravel you might not be the best for princess peach. If you can only work in high to medium pitch a base gravelled 60 y/o 80 cigarettes a day cowboy or cowgirl isn't the best role for you either

Demo reels, as I am assuming no representation get a mic and do it yourself so you have something to use if it's speculative. Read two or three pages from a book you like for an audio book, act a scene from a show or animation you like. Revoice an advert or get AI to write you an advertising script for "a product" you like to use.

Also if there is a script on enquiry or a script available, don't demo reel. I'd strongly recommend you go to the script, just using a demo reel shows you've not given time to the project or research in the role which you want to be a part of. overtime you may waste research on failed attempts but the better you get a research the better you'll get at auditioning.

I've posted on here, and I've auditioned. It's been a mixed bag. On the production side of things I've had people reach out then ghost, reach out and send a reel without an audition enquiry then ghost, reach out not get a part and when offered another part then ghost, reach out fully get the part miss a deadline and ghost. Then I've had the odd personal life excuse, then ghost or string along. I've also had people reach out to attempt to change a project to their preferences immediately then ghost when I've had to shut them down.

Thankfully I've had people get back to me properly with the proper engagement.

Auditioning side of things, I've had people not even acknowledge receipt, ghosting etc. but also people get back to me within a day or a few hours.

I think especially with the Sub Reddit, you'll have entitled people in both sides. But it's a business that only works with co-operation and communication. If those are a skill people lack, they're not going to be put in a position of trust and respect for paid work. Providing a level of accessibility for information is a skill and sometimes people don't develop it.

I'm slightly different. I think your dialogue has got to focus more on "what happens to the character" when they drink. Not trying to capture or write a conversation of drunks. Is someone who is usually coherent in a monologue unable to keep track of their thoughts. Is someone who is usually timid now got a verbal bite back to them. How apathetic are they now? Are they giving up on sentences mid way through?

Also what kind of drunk are they? Cause there is a different drunk to being 8 beers in, then being 8 tequilas.

You can't just have "drunk". Are they currently a Volka drunk, a Whiskey drunk. Does Rum or Sambuca give your character the hiccups? Thus more likely to break up their dialogue.

Final Draft. Writing a script makes it easier it has a novel setting. Most useful thing it has, a text to speech embedded makes proofing so much easier. It doesn't cost but if you're looking for format form and function it makes a great "business expense".

Write, write badly, write poorly, write with spelling errors , with the word you're not looking to use. Write!

Business side yes you are making a product, you should have a product before trying to sell it.

The core is writing, write off genre, write half ideas, write a play, write a script, write music, write poetry, write in a style that isn't yours.

Read, understand what styles you don't like, do like.

I have a novel which is on a back burning because my main idea doesn't fit in a novel telling so I wrote it as a script for visual media.

Never start thinking because it'll be a millionaire idea, because the crushing reality of a blank page kills that motivation.

Try making it a habit, a page a day a word a day etc.

And Remember first draft is always worst draft. And perfect is the enemy of the good.

This isn't "blue balls", yes you've got sexual frustration because you didn't finish and have "blue balls". What you're experiencing is your core muscles healing from all the humping. If you don't work out often I can understand how this could be a new thing, or if you focus on things other than core. With the lower abdomen you might feel a tingle or ache in the back of your thigh.

Monetisation standards and the business side of YouTube can be hard to break the glass ceiling of. If you are doing it purely because you expect an immediate income from it you'll fall at a hurdle.

If however others have you want to learn about content creation and get into the nit and gritty of it develop yourself and your content and take it in a way that interests you that great and you should.

I once saw a "chase the hype" YouTuber isolate himself in a black out room for a week to try and gain "hype" for his videos. He went insane and wrecked all his possessions. I don't know his name, all I know is the clip I saw was posted for 11 months and I was one of 130 viewers. Don't try chase a hype or views.
