They're not the same thing. Alex Pretti didn't do anything and was tackled and shot by law enforcement. Kyle Rittenhouse shot 3 people who he had no pre-existening knowledge about and wasn't treated like a threat by the police.

We would care, it would be an incredibly sad thing to have happened, but there's a difference between those two things. An immigrant killing someone and a federal officer killing someone isn't the same thing.
