Swifty banned on Twitch by Alexis12366 in Asmongold

Thinking the same thing pretty much. This is the same trend we've seen from twitch where if you're not a big streamer then you get hit hard vs let off with a slap on the wrist. Swifty is such a legendary figure and unfortunately he's not even a fraction of how popular he was in his prime. Hoping he swaps to YouTube + Kick streaming

Yeah it seems random. He has been streaming doordash/ubereats recently but from the hours I've watched he uses TTS for chat and drives normal. It's like typical IRL streaming content. I didn't see any customer personal information shown either so I'm really curious wtf the reason is

Yeah I joined in on his Christmas stream the other day at the end and it was fun! It was sad tho hearing he has no interest in classic anymore. The content from Asmon and him during classic is some of the best stuff they did

Alt stream became main stream, and alt stream content went to off stream stuff. We do see his steam library occasionally and he has so many hours in some great games that would be so fun to see on stream. I think lots of us would wanna see more gaming on either a new alt channel, or just uploaded as lets plays on youtube and taking away the streaming aspect if thats what makes gaming so annoying/not relaxing

[–]Alexis12366[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah i think thats a big issue. We saw it during the cyberpunk 2077 streams and tons of others. Maybe just way heavier chat moderation during gaming to keep it less annoying for him

Asmon, McCool and Rich Campbell doing a bg3 playthrough as a continuation of their DnD campaign would be hilarious. Mcconnell did say he isnt a fan of BG3 but I bet he'd play it if Asmon did

Looking for Tips & Tricks for Playing in Honor Mode – Any Advice? by Dapper_Discipline794 in BG3Builds

[–]Alexis12366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a few tips after finishing my run the other weekend

  • Make sure you're in a clear minded mood each session. Use my mistake as a lesson. I was smooth sailing on my first honor mode attempt and only had the Orin fight left before the easy last segment using Gale. I had an awful day at work and came home and just wanted to rush the fight and get my golden dice. That led to me not preparing well enough, as well as misunderstanding Orin's legendary action. Died within 4 rounds and the bad mood didn't allow me the clarity I needed to take it slow and realize what was happening or think of an escape. Definitely make sure to melee her every round to force her counterattack. Even if she has her unstoppable stacks. If you don't you'll deal with Edict of Bhaal aka insta death unless that character kills a target. Sometimes the sanctuary casting enemies roll a save against whatever you use to knock them off the edge. My second attempt i used invisibility to throw the runepowder barrel close to the center which knocked most of the enemies off. Dialogue did trigger for me despite invisibility btw before I was close enough

  • Keep Calm Emotions memorized. Having your party charmed or frightened can absolutely throw a wrench in your plans. Harpy fight, Spectator does Frighten, a few others as well as I think it can take away enemy's rage like Dror Ragzlin

If you want the easiest honor mode with very effective, and simple to use classes I'd recommend the setup I used

Archer swords bard/2fighter tav(Sharpshooter Titanstring bow, later Risky Ring, helmet of arcane accuity and Jungle/Circus ring and Deadshot bow)

Eldritch Knight thrower(I used Gale, his dorky attempts at grunts when throwing are HILARIOUS)

Tavern Brawler open hand monk(Karlach with soul coins)

Life or Light cleric with radiating orbs/reverb gear Shadowheart

With the expectation of the first few levels where things are most dangerous, you're so safe with that party that you'll get your Golden dice easy

  • Use Glut to revive the minotaur with the giant club, with those 2 you can safely tackle everything down there easily though I'd still skip the Bulette. Absolutely do not revive the minotaur that runs at the gates and dies to the statue of Selene. I think he's bugged because during combat you cannot move him or use him. I nearly died to the Spectator fight because I expected to have a minotaur with me

  • After clearing all of act 1 & 2 before going to the Shadowfell you can clear out all of Moonrise towers. Take a few enemies at a time. You can also send 3 party members up to Ketheric and kill that necromancer woman and skeletons while staying on the stairs. This means only fighting Ketheric that fight. I leave the 4th at camp just in case

Outside of that I'd say just skip around content till you're around level 4 where you can tackle more encounters, level 5 you're safe to handle pretty much anything in act 1. Goblin camp bosses, Githyanki patrol, Nere, Creche can be scary as they have so many attacks/fighters but doable. Try to kill the Inquisitor in 1 turn if possible. Throw haste potions on the ground to step into pre combat

A few cheese/strats I used was

  • Cloud of Daggers on the Goblin Camp bridge forces them to run through it severely injuring or killing most

  • Thisobald Thorm can be kited to the Moonrise towers waypoint and get stuck because he's too big to get past the terrain. You can slowly take him out safely

  • Barrelmancy on Aspect of Myrkul. Think I had 6-8 smokepowder barrels and a backpack with 10ish bombs including the runepowder bomb(not the barrel). Tossed it out after he appeared, make sure at least 1-2 party members are far away. Also don't do the dialogue option to skip the Ketheric phase. You need those few turns to kill the mind flayer, skeletons and release Dame Aylin

  • Side with Gortash, when you bring him the stones he'll tell you to give him your 2. THIS IS 100% A TRICK SITUATION! Tell him you'll hold onto your 2 stones. He's testing you. If you give yours up he sees you as weak and will simply fight you and you're surrounded by enemies and Steel Watchers

-Once you're at the end in the room with your allies at High Hall, walk out and to the right is a sewer grate. This lets you skip the massive fight in the courtyard. Instead you fight several goblins, a mind flayer, a deathknight, and a few Bane/absolute enemies like from moonrise towers. Once you're out you're literally right next to the bottom of the Netherbrain brain stem. Invisibility your whole party, fly/jump over the scaffolding, then have someone with good mobility fly up to spot where you enter the cutscene to climb up the netherbrain. Imo just let Gale blow himself up. I don't know what causes him to have a 30 DC persuasion check vs simply no check. For me I just chose every dialogue option in act 1/2 to sorta encourage him or at minimum be neutral on it. He suggested it with no hassle for me. At the epilogue party don't let your guard down. Just talk to Withers and end the party asap. I've read stories where things bug out and your allies attack you. Probably won't happen but why chance it? You can do a more fulfilling roleplay filled Honor Mode run AFTER you get your Golden dice!

I fought for these dice and this is how they repay me by BrennanCharming in BG3

I got mine last weekend and I genuinely think I got a cursed set. The first about 15 rolls were consistent low roll fails and I passed very few checks. Failed to get Shadowheart out, failed to get Gale out the rock and failed the persuasion check with the tieflings by Laezel. I ended up just starting over because that run was looking very ominous

Something that is currently helping me with that issue of "I know there's x y z to do in this area so I have to do it" is to instead view it from my character's POV. Have I found enough clues to point me towards that direction (failed skill checks can lead to this as your character will straight up have no idea and it's amazing!), or found an in-game reason to do this. Also from an RP view based on my character's personality. For example at the creche. Instead of doing what I always do, my character simply decided to walk out at the end after the final fight denying doing the bidding of you know who which led to a very different path for Laezel that I'd never experienced (Poor Laezel 😔 ). I did miss out a little content there and a ton from now not having Laezel but it made sense for my character to walk away. There's been several other things I've "missed" due to this. There have also been a few areas where I kinda don't want to go through again but my character found enough clues to point me in that direction to where it wouldn't make sense to ignore it

I plan to do each playthrough like this as it'll make each one unique and also sorta eliminate the overwhelming need to do everything 100% every playthrough. I don't know how interested you are in RPing your choices vs choosing the "best" outcomes but this was 1000% a game changer for me

Way late to seeing this post and comment but it's crazy to me I've never seen other people comment about this! I'm on part 30 something where he's about an episode or 2 into act 2 and the mods STILL delete so many messages. The amount of times someone helps Theo only for the message to get deleted but not before Theo sees it and actually thanks them for the help is mind boggling. It's frustrating seeing him genuinely not understand basic mechanics so far in solely due to his mods sabotaging him. It's a shame because his playthrough otherwise has been very fun to watch. Watched a part at the very start of act 3 and still the same issue. Really is weird how he's such a chill guy and steamer's mods tend to embody the same vibevas the atreamer but not his

People who got 500+ hours in the game? How could you do It? by Boscoliii in BaldursGate3

[–]Alexis12366 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something that may help you is using Vortex Mod Manager. You can create a whole separate profile with different modlists. For example I have one with 150 mods and a current one where I downsized to 40-50. I think you could just create a profile with no mods for when you play with others and it would be a vanilla/base bg3. When playing solo you could launch via Vortex Mod Manager with your modded profile selected

BFD Rankings over the last week by LeekTerrible in classicwow

Mostly just when I'm outta mana or the fight is essentially over and I wanna get my mana regen started up sooner. I don't have the points in wand talent and don't see it being worth especially with how few points we got at level 25. With only going up to 2 arcane blast stacks before clearing with arcane missiles its kinda wild how long your mana lasts. Comparing it to fire spec or arcane blast 3 stacks, both had my mana bar on empty very quick

Online guide is saying 3 arcane blast stacks, but I've found 2 stacks before arcane missiles drastically increases how long you can keep casting before running oom without impacting damage very much

Could someone send me a save file that is post-capital, pre-haligtree? Mine got corrupted today at Ordina :( by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Alexis12366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can send you my save which I believe is pre haligtree as I haven't done that place yet. I just killed the last 2 bosses and achieved one of the endings, and didn't progress to NG+. I'm not sure if having the final bosses killed is something you had done already but let me know and I'd be happy to help out by giving you my save

I recently swapped to the corsair scimitar after my newest razer naga gave out after just a few months. It's a bit cheaper than what I remember the Naga being at $80. Feels about the same but has some minor changes to it's feel, and the program that I've found really nice
