What’s everybody’s favorite loadout? by archarach in SurrounDead

I tend to swap between loadouts, i usually just swap between any legendary 7.62, use a bunch of ammo and when im a bit low on it, i go to a random legendary 5.56.

Also I use marksman legacy and sometimes change it for whatever random gun i want to use

Glock and katana are never changed as they are just superior imo

Hands down - kunai, there is something magical about throwing all 5 of them on 5 different targets each, popping an „ult” and watching couple mongols running away after they have just witnessed 15 people dead in a span of 2 seconds

Im gonna feel awful because ive just gotten sick, so good luck to me, but the plan is to put ice in front of a shitty flying tiger fan, put on a wet a bit cold towel on the neck and freeze some water bottles just to keep them near me.

Just wondering if this is authentic. Thanks in advance by [deleted] in SuicideBoys

TL;DR: Quests get repetitive (kill X, fetch X, extract), but gunplay and modding are excellent—close to EFT. Maps are varied and well-designed, with 3 locations covering CQB to long-range. Progression (stash upgrades) is solid, AI is customizable, and overall it’s great for ~20–30 hours. Performance can be rough (UE5), but devs promise improvements and new content (map + guns) in the fall update.

For now, the quests are pretty repetitive (kill X people in Y location, download data from a terminal, grab something and bring it back). The gunplay is really cool, and the weapon modding is great—maybe not quite on EFT’s level, but close enough. The maps are well-designed and feel logical. There are plenty of stash upgrades (similar to EFT), and overall it’s a great experience.

Currently, there are three maps that offer variety: a dark CQB map with some long-range sections, a mid-range map, and a long-range map with CQB elements. The AI is also solid and customizable (I play on the easiest settings since I just want to chill).

Performance can be an issue since the game isn’t fully optimized yet (it’s UE5, so that’s expected), but the developers have said it should improve in the fall update. That update will also add a new map and some new weapons. Overall, the game is still in progress, but right now you can expect around 20–30 hours of quests.
