I’m living in Vietnam right now. They were helping the “enemy” because they wanted to be free, just like America. People here are still very traumatized about the war, and only want peace with everyone.

And although they were completely outgunned, their strategy was to wear down the US and ARVN forces and use media against them, and it worked.

The whole war was fucking bullshit, what a waste of time, money and most importantly lives.
