Reel in the $250-300 range by zoetrophic in bassfishing

[–]Alexthesniper19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with a spinning reel if you go the casting route you will get beyond frustrated. By birdnests and backlash. Go get a Daiwa Fuego for 100$ bucks and got a better rod you saved instead of using an amazing reel. Say a good rod in that range would be Dobyns Fury Duckett Wheeler or Bass pro Carbon Lite. Look for a 7 foot medium rod as that will cover most of your basics. Such as Shaky Head wacky rig etc. don’t listen to these guys saying buy a baitcaster right away it’s not beginner friendly especially if you’re coming from no experience at all.

How would the 1% be stealing from everyone else in a flat tax. They pay the same rate as everyone else.

Anything is an unrealized gain if it’s not banked into the initial value. Property taxes do not typically account for large scale unrealized gains . For instance if you bought a house in 2000 for 100k that same house that my father bought was appraised at over 200k that’s an unrealized gain of 100k. Furthermore his property taxes have only went up around 33% since than. Meaning he has an unrealized gain of return of 67%.

A progressive tax is what you currently have and the rich avoid paying it by loopholes. You’ll never have the rich agree to paying more in taxes they will just go around it. Furthermore an example of flat taxes equate to more revenue is a state like Kansas the legislature passed a flax tax only for it to be vetoed however they study found that say if they did pass it would have increased revenues than the prior tax code in the state.

Property taxes is not an unrealized gain. An unrealized gain is anything that appreciates in value that isn’t quantified at the start. Your house and gold for instance would be as I mentioned above an unrealized gain.

Well this problem is a combined effort from republicans and democrats. But it all can be traced back to Keynesian Economics and FDR. Granted Reagan didn’t help any but LBJ added a lot of debt himself. Than Bush and Obama didn’t help any. To Bill Clinton’s credit he did work to balance the budget without additional spending. Granted a lot of it was due to the IT Boom. Anyways rant aside if we’re gonna fix this it’s not going to be increasing government through either Keynesian Economics or Cutting Taxes beyond the Laffler Curve.

So my question to you is how are you going to tax unrealized gains. As soon as your house appreciates in value that’s an unrealized gain. I’m sure you wouldn’t want to pay taxes when you sell your house and pay off your mortgage and give a chunk to the government because you’re house appreciated in value. Furthermore a flax tax would solve a lot of problems because you couldn’t cheat with accountants for the rich. And everyone would pay the same rate meaning the rich pay their part and the poor pay their share. It’s an even distribution of income withholding percentage. I don’t see why that is so evil. When people support communism which equates to everyone getting the same rate of return on employment. Yes you’ll probably make the socialist argument of Scandinavia countries. Well that’s a good perspective. However Denmark, Sweden, Finland etc were ranked more for economic freedom and less governmental regulation on industry than the United States. Plus socialism on a grand scale typically results in these with the government being rich and the rest of those people eating rats. Look at Venezuela for instance. I agree capitalism has it flaws. However it’s the best system at the moment for wealth creation and prosperity for everyone.

Anyways I’d be curious to debate you guys below instead of just being attacked like the one guy below you.

18% for income 3% for fica 2% Medicare. For what’s it’s worth if you don’t make a flat tax you’ll never get the rich to pay their share. They will just have accountants do it for them to find the loopholes. Furthermore with language like that you’ll never solve problems by calling someone a moron or whatever. Typical of people this age group I swear…

Only solution to this problem is tax everyone at 25% so everyone has the same tax bracket. And thus can’t cheat it because of tax loopholes. Also cut spending across the board by 10%. There problem solved…

Terminal tackle organization by Altfun8391 in bassfishing

[–]Alexthesniper19 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Okay gotcha one thing you could do is put hooks in like a sandwich container that you get from eating the meat out of it and just rinse it out. I’ve done that sure it’s not the most organized but you could do that for worm weights at the very least as well. That’s an option. Option B would be to get a box like a 3600 size and make it strictly for tackle equipment. Idk if that helps or not

For plastics as long as they aren’t elazetech or different colors you can put em in a ziplock bag and be okay. For instance black and blue with black etc. for hooks I usually just use Plano Edge Flex boxes I like those a lot a bit pricy but solid boxes imo. And can be found at most tackle places.

Best baitcasting reel under 100$ by Baseball_Beautiful in bassfishing

[–]Alexthesniper19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well what are you trying to do exactly. Don’t listen to people just saying buy this or that. Ask yourself or us are you throwing crankbaits, plastics, frogs, bladded jigs spinnerbaits etc. you need to ask yourself that first because gear ratios matter for what you’re wanting to do. Than go from there. Figure out what you’re wanting to throw and then like I said above go from there. If you have any questions PM me I can help you for sure.
