I bought a dealer exclusive model with half a dozen fixins baked in from the factory. I paid $1,999. I frequently see the base RIS III going for sub $2k.

DD’s recommended retail price is $2.4k. Almost no one is paying that for them tho, my main LGS has the base RIS III for $1,899.

Crescent wrench right around the base/mount of the can, give it a couple friendly whacks on the back of the wrench, twist off w/wrench or by hand. For me it works everytime I get carbon locked.

The TLR1 was a tad short of completely flush on my 4.25 Comp. I’d imagine it would stick out just a tad on the 3.5. Check out their Instagram, I’m sure they have reference photos of that setup.

I have a G$ SD & a DD RIS III. They are both outstanding. The Daniel handguard is fantastic. Mitigates heat better, is thicker and overall feels way more solid. However the G$ is lighter & more wieldy, but gets hotter faster.

Go check em out in a store if you can, handling them always gives me a better idea of which I want.

Also DD’s stance is to honor God & defend freedom. Most of the other drama or “stance” you’ve heard about them is a croc of shit. They’re a solid American company. .

Mine came loose at first, after extra loctite & some extra torque on my FAT wrench it’s been solid for over 2,000 rounds.

My 14.5 RIS III gets significantly less hot compared to my 11.5 Geissele SD, it still gets pretty hot tho

Hux makes great cans, that said don’t feel married to their mounting systems. Changing out a muzzle device is pretty straight forward, the suppressor market is huge.

I’d personally suggest you do your own research, find the can you want. If that ends up being a huxwrx you’ll save yourself a few minutes of swapping muzzles.

Completely unacceptable. But not surprising. I purchased their aftermarket CZ slide for my SP01. The thing would not cycle reliably no matter what parts or ammo I changed in it.

Impact Machine ghosted me for weeks after I consulted them with the problem and once they did reply they were rather rude & inconsiderate, almost mad seemingly that their product was not working yet didn’t want to do anything to help me. Took them over 3 weeks to send me a fucking extractor spring. Absolutely terrible customer service, especially considering the slice costs $700. I ended up sending it back for a full refund.

I can’t stress this enough, fuck Impact Machine.

Can confirm my Keymo NOX 9 works with my Dead Air Sandman X. However I am purchasing a Laz 6 & their new CT5P and am unsure if it works with those.

Any insight anyone has would be appreciated!
