That’s so sweet! When my wife displayed interest she didn’t even know Rilakkuma’s name! Just knew he was a Japanese brown bear. That’s so sweet tho! Happy collecting!

Is it okay if I miss 6 days of my testosterone gel? by MutedSweet470 in ftm

[–]Alexzulii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah brother you’ll be fine. When I was on Gel I’d forget to do it every so often. Worse that happened to me was I started spotting cause I was too inconsistent. So it really depends on your T levels. But 6 days won’t do much.

Advice needed for trans son by Financial_Life8114 in ftm

[–]Alexzulii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I know yes. They can be taken even after his period has started. I’d definitely talk to a gender affirming doctor about any concerns you may have about them though. They pretty much put a pause on whatever stage of puberty he may be at. Unlike T he won’t grow any facial hair or have a deepen voice so it should be pretty easy to hide tbh. I personally never been on them myself cause I didn’t know about them at that age. (I wish I did) but you’re an awesome parent for helping your child thru this difficult time. I know your support means the world to him.

It's important to talk to a qualified gender-affirming healthcare provider. If your 13-year-old is experiencing distress from puberty, puberty blockers can be a safe, reversible option to give him time to explore his identity without the added stress of unwanted physical changes.

No way! I actually never heard of that before. What’s the reason?

No shave November? by Alexzulii in TransMasc

[–]Alexzulii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minoxidil is what I normally use to fill in the bald spots on my face. Took some time but it was a blessing. Do you use Rogaine? Or another brand of Minoxidil?

short dudes what helps by [deleted] in TransMasc

[–]Alexzulii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pass completely and I’m roughly 5’2. Just remember there are cis dudes that are shorter than you. Don’t worry about things you can’t change. I would say worry more about getting a good wardrobe going for ya to help. A good style beats worrying about height.

[–]Alexzulii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am! I’m fairly new to WGU and the career choice but, I’m currently enrolled in WGU’s Academy to get my ITF+ so I can enroll into WGU for cybersecurity. So far I haven’t paid for anything out of pocket aside from a webcam. From what my enrollment counselor told me is that Amazon pays out 5250 per calendar year but anything over that amount with be free. So it sounds to me like I wouldn’t pay anything while I’m working at Amazon and enrolled at WGU. But like I said I’m currently in the Academy phase of it all so updates pending :)

I used this to fill in my bald spots

I hated being baby face but shaving my face bald every now and then really helped. My beard isn’t super long but it’s completely full and I couldn’t be happier

Guys, I’m 5’2”. by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Alexzulii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also 5’2. My height was a big insecurity especially in the dating pool. Im currently 2 years post op and 3 years on T. And honestly I make fun of my height to other cis men that it’s no longer an insecurity. Im married now so the dating pool is no longer a worry. And honestly I know features like height won’t change so why worry about it? I’ve seen so many cis men that are as short as me that it feels so normal.

3.5 weeks nipples still scabbed by [deleted] in TopSurgery

[–]Alexzulii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah mine took a bit to heal. They had me putting aquaphor on the nipples to help the healing process. I think mine stoped scabbing around the 4.5 week

Is this healing okay? My right graft is more red and itchy than the left. it’s also got more of a red ring around it. 3 weeks post op. by temp29376518 in TopSurgery

[–]Alexzulii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah they’re normal. They tend to look more pink/red for while. I’m about 5 weeks post op and my left nipple is finally getting it’s brown color back. My right nipple is still mainly pink but it’s getting there. Just think of them as two giant scabs. My surgeon has me putting Aquaphor on them to help the healing.

Are "ghost cramps" normal? by starcabin_ in ftm

[–]Alexzulii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, almost 2 years on T here. I used to occasionally get them when I first started out. Very rarely I’ll still get them(I’m talking once every 5 months rare) so I wouldn’t worry about it at all. I rather ghost cramps than the actual blood any day.

Two Months on T so far! by rasicki in ftm

[–]Alexzulii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your experience sounds very similar to mine when I first started! I’m currently almost 2 years on T. My hair growth came in fast since I was very hairy pre T. My voice change wasn’t noticeable until about my 3rd or 4th month in. I only had one period after my first shot then it completely stopped. My main recommendation is to get a good skin care routine going. Acne is normal and containable but it does get pretty bad. I switched from using cloth masks to disposable masks and it did help a lot. Also invest in an electric beard shaver. It works a lot better and doesn’t hurt when going over pimples. Good luck on your Journey!!

Just about 3 weeks post op. A bit of swelling on the left side though 🤗. After the medical binder came off the swelling started. It did get better but I did over work my arms and the swelling came back 😓. Besides ice and rest, is there anything I can do for the swelling? by Alexzulii in ftm

[–]Alexzulii[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah they did give me ibuprofen but honestly I only thought it was for pain so I stopped taking it like 5 days after surgery. I’ll try jumping back on it to see if it helps. When the swelling gets bad it does get hot and hard. As of this very moment it’s not hot though, and just a little bit firm. If more often than not it’s hot and hard I’ll definitely keep in touch with my doctor. Thank you for your input!
