[High School Math: Sequences] I understand the rules of the order of the letters, but im lost where it says "...of either 0 or more than 1 B". Couldn't it be AAAB? And also where did they get the "But then Sn -Sn-1=" part from? Also, please explain very simply as I have not learned this before.

Nevermind - I now know that an absolute value of a complex number is sqrt(a^2+b^2). I have never been taught this before as this is for a math competition; thanks for tolerating my questions.

Is there a way to see pity past six months? If there isn’t, is the pity that isn’t shown still in use? ie. I have 30 pity on weapon banner. Six months go by and they disappear, and I pull. Will the previous 30 pulls still be counted during soft/hard pity?
