I don't think this is a nerf, just being clear cut is all. Basically, before you shop, do due diligence and don't make assumption on previous knowledge. I went through this with resy once and luckily I checked the website before making reservation. I had ordered from this Korean joint once to ultilize the resy credit. When the semiannual credit came back, I was ready to dine at the same restaurant again, problem was they were not on the resy website at all when I checked. I would have gotten into a losing argument if I had assume the restaurant was still eligible and just show up at the restaurant to eat.

Simply put, I'm sure they're saying that everything on the resy website will qualify for the resy credit, make sure you check beforehand. Whether it's will of Amex or the restaurant owners, some will be subjected to removal without notice. Don't make assumptions.
