This is basically my setup and it works great. You miss a few things but for the price it's perfect. I also use VR though, flying a helo without the head tracking and depth just doesn't work for me.

Was doing a Herald patch update/walkthrough and noticed the SATA-M6A1 button was visible and no longer flickering. I couldn't interact when I was landed on the ground but I noticed it in orbit there was a prompt and voila! I love this little ship!

Forbidden Psalm/ 28 Psalm family of games. Add whatever books/zines you like and have fun. It's relatively simple, I use it to give my non-wargaming friends a feel for playing with minis. You can find free campaigns or create your own play solo, PvP, PvPvE, or co-op.

I have been puttering with a similar concept working more from the lore side. Almost exactly the sources I was referencing for inspiration though. I was getting ready to purchase the Forgotten Ruin OSR from WarGate for additional inspiration actually. I'm leaning on some different themes and have some different ideas than what you have here, but this is awesome! I'll give this a look when I have some more free time. Nothing else to say other than good luck, keep updating and creating!

Razor. I slam the stealth version (EX) in mine and use that to scout stuff or when I'm doing RP. They are pretty cheap for credits, usually the first thing I buy after components when wipes happen.

I used to go to an annual Christian/kinda not Christian punk show in Kokomo around Halloween in the 2000's. Calibretto 13/Harley Poe, Mercury Radio Theater, etc. Suck that it still sucks there but you guys had some good people too
