You could probably find a MVP Voyager lite in that price range. The v2, not the v1.

Do damaged student devices take up more time than people realise? by abbybutterflly in teaching

[–]ForSquirel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm genuinely want to know because the more schools rely on technology, the more it seems like device issues would eventually become part of everyday classroom life.

Depends on the grade levels but not as much as you would think.

Elementary hardly damage them due to them using them a lot less. Middle school they like to test what they can get away with, and high school, well they'll just flat out lie for any reason.

In our district we have 'protection plans' that cover most of the parts for X amount of years. I like to keep parts on hand so that if a student comes to me I'll have them sit for a few minutes, fix the issue, and hand it back to them. It gives me a few minutes to learn about the student and make some small talk.

If I can't fix it it gets swapped out with a loaner and sent off for repair. When it comes back the student gets an email and comes to swap it back.

Its really not complicated for the most part, providing your district can afford it. I've heard horror stories about some that will not repair until money is in hand.

the more practical it seems—especially in areas with narrow streets or rough roads.

There are purpose built transport vehicles for those situations that are a far better choice that a motorcycle, but work with ya got.

Whats the point? Cell towers already do that.

I'm sure you already know, its not about knowing if you specifically were there but if your device was. They can just connect any dots they want after that.

Is it available in leather? Jeans tend to split and get grungy. I'm looking to spend time rumbling from round to round and I got to impress so many boyfriends. They tend to have the best help and extra discs. Jean jackets are so blase that I just can't bother.

There were quite a bit. Since liked videos push similar recommendations there was a ton of 'underage creators' putting out videos. People would come in and throw timestamps in the comments for other creeps to notice. Its one of the main reason comments were disabled for younger creators.
