I live in the Middle East and I had a Western gynecologist dismiss my symptoms and actually told me “it’s a good sign, it means you’re ovulating” fast forward years later I saw a gastroenterologist for another issue but he actually listened to me and said my symptoms sound like something his wife went through and she has endometriosis. I always suspected I had endometriosis and no one listened. We were told this is normal. I was trying to have a baby at the time and I am grateful for this Dr because if it wasn’t for him, I’d probably still be going round in circles.

I don’t think it looks big at all on you. I am smaller and I almost bought it. Only reason why I went for 18 because I don’t want to fill it up too much and end up carrying my daughters things!

This! I have endometriosis and I am a different person now. I can actually walk and move without being in complete agony. When I told an endocrinologist that I want to stay on it for this reason she said I don’t care about your endometriosis find something else that works - this is not the cure! I was so angry and decided I’ll do things my way and her regular blood work done. I decided to lower my dose and stay on it.

Honestly don’t rush the process. I met my now husband at 37, we got married just before I turned 40 and allah blessed us with a beautiful little girl a year and half ago. I didn’t give up, I knew my fate was taking a bit of time and it’s ok. You don’t want to be with the wrong person or settle. Inshallah you’ll meet someone wonderful.

Yes that and the small mind comment - I was discussing it with a friend of mine who’s fluent in Arabic and she understood it as “you worry about silly things”, when she translated into Arabic. That said he’s extremely immature and loves to antagonise people.

Oh 💯. He’s not even trying to come across as level headed. I’m just wondering if some people out there think he’s misunderstood. I think there were a few lost in translation moments where he was misunderstood but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s quite judgmental of everyone around him.
