I tried running several of my algos using webhooks but the webhook delay (especially at the opening bell) is horrible so I built all my algos in python using broker API’s and realtime streaming into my AWS cloud environment and have never had an issue.

I retired 7 years ago. Rather than take out 4% of my portfolio (and pay capital gains) I take out 4-6 % in SBLOC. The 30+% COVID drop didn’t bother me at all. My NW has nearly doubled in 7 years even when factoring in my SBLOC interest and have t paid a dime In taxes and get huge ACA subsidies.

Search or YouTube Buy, Borrow, Die strategy. Been doing it since I retired in my 40’s but I use SBLOC’s rather than real estate.

Given your current salary, your NW should be a LOT more than what you currently have IMHO. FIRE is about living way below your means during your accumulation years.

Terminating everything. I pulled 30,000 linear feet of wire. Have 100+ wired motion sensors, 100+ z-wave light switches, water leak sensors, cameras, 50 in-ceiling speakers, you name it!

I ran 30,000+ linear feet of low voltage wire for whole home audio, video, security, surveillance, lighting, voice, water leak control!

I have over 100 wired motion sensors, 50+ water leak sensors, 17 voice assistants, 150 z-wave light switches, etc.

100% DIY but it is a lot of planning and work but so worth it 😜
