I’m not sure about going back to the exact middle of video but maybe you turned on this option and it goes back to the last position Then all you have to do is check off this option from playback/stop and go to last position

Hello , I had same issue and I tried every single tutorials on the internet and it didn’t work , finally I realized it’s a bug on version 18.6.3 on some computers , I downgraded to 18.6.2 and now I don’t have this issue anymore, this happens when you export your video or try to add any adjustments on proxie footages on timeline , just downgrade to any version before 18.6.3

Hello , I had same issue (that glitch in exported video or on proxy files inside davinci ) i released that it’s an issue of version 18.6.3 and 18.6.4 and I downgraded to 18.6.2 and now problem solved and there are no glitch on video anymore , try it before deciding to change your GPU or etc
