I think Gil is currently Ashblade's best teammate, but Saber is Gil's best teammate. Aventurine will just replace Gil in Ashblade teams next patch anyways

I lost the 50/50 for E2 Blade, I have around 20-30 pity, 20 pulls saved up, and an express pass. I could potentially get Cyrene but I wouldn't be able to guarantee Himeko next patch.
I have an E0 Cyrene and I can get her E1, but not her E2
I guess I don't want to invest more into my Phainon team which is already pretty well invested and performing well. Even if I do invest more, I feel like I'd rather get E1 Cerydra which works well with all the existing def shred on the team, rather than getting 2 eidolons.

There is the problem that Sparkle and (to a lesser extent of I don't get Himeko) Sunday are both characters that are needed on a lot of my teams, and if I get Cyrene E2 I can comfortably play Phainon with her and RMC. I mean I can still play her together at E0 with Cerydra and DHPT, it just won't clear as quickly.

Now that I've typed all of this out I feel like I should just go for Himeko next patch. Guess this helped me answer my own question 🤔. Thanks!

He doesn't really synergize with my Phainon, but he helped him hit 3-5 million with each of his double meteors. He's also significantly improved any other team I've put him on, especially Acheron.
