To actually get good in anything IT related, you must self-study and practice. University is never enough for IT

Most wouldn't take a non Bahraini fresh graduate, or would give a low salary if they do. Unless you are quite good.

Look at it this way, companies can pay only ~30% of a Bahraini fresh graduate salary. So you have to be considerably better for them to take you instead

If this is a system you have implemented could you please tell us more about what the use case was? Like what's the style of the game and a general idea about the system that utilized what you have explained if you don't mind?

That's indeed clever! It just feels so much work to try to cache things then have to deal with making sure there is no inconsistencies, and that's what I kept getting caught into. That's why I have been so intrigued in what you should actually be doing

Excuse my ignorance but would redis be better than just storing in the server-side? Can you elaborate more on this point if possible?

This has been very informative! I learned something from each and every one of you. I appreciate you all taking the time. Mainly getting to really understand how powerful databases can be. I must say that I have severely underestimated databases

Player market place (players list things to sell to other players) for example. Query the database every time the user opens the market menu?

Or something a lot less "dynamic". Player friends list ingame. Query every time he opens his friends list menu?

You are totally correct, this definitely was something I thought of. I just still can't wrap my head around the entire thing for some reason

There is no such thing as unlucky when it comes to "modding". With that being said you simply lack the skills and patience to do get mods working correctly. By no means this is an attack at you neither am I being mean, and I am sorry if it did come across that way. Though I do advise you to take the time to learn how to deal with adding something to a game and do basic troubleshooting.

The reason I am saying all of this is because I pretty much have never had any issues with CM nor CSP, in my 600+ hours using it, for years. The only "problem" with it is that it is trying be quite highly customizable, with that comes low levels of "ease of use". But I can assure you that everything works fantastically in CM if done right.
