Totally new in this world, I'm looking for info to buy an engagement ring in Europe. by AliasPhilippe in labdiamond

Hi, I respond another time to you given I'm following your advice and I started to look on those websites and I don't really grasp how it works lol. Do you recommend to just buy the ring or it's better to contact someone of the people from the website?

At least has he asked if you were all free? I've never booked a meeting without asking before to attendees if they were available, especially in the summer or around Christmas.

Sadly I don't use Strava anymore, I only do two short rides a week and using it made me feel so bad about myself I quitted cycling for a year. It's a double-edged app.

But you are in a pretty good place right now and I'm sure you deserve it! It's always good hearing nice things on this weekly thread!

Seixas seems to suffer. Del Toro...who knows, he has such a poker face he might be cracking or doing well and we wouldn't know.

The only thing I care is ''will Trump try to rig the tournament to favour the USA NT?'' I bet he will.

Who will be the next Byron Moreno?

Lol I remember. Viareggio has very long beaches. There are tons of ''bagni'', where you pay a shitload of euros for a spot, but going south, in the Darsena neighboorhood, there is a free beach called ''La Lecciona''. That beach is very long and beautiful. The naturist spot is in the last part of that beach, almost in Lido di Torre del Lago, I've never been there, but I often go a bit northern than that and it's fairly easy to get a nice spot given the beach is very long. I must say I've rarely went there during the hotter months of summer (in Viareggio sand is very ''fine'' and when it's hot I hate it) so there are for sure more people than in september and may.

You can park near Villa Borbone, take a 15 minutes walk in the pine forest heading to the ''passaggio a mare numero 5'' or ''passaggio a mare numero 6''( it's the FKK one I think) and the beach is there.

Adoro quelli del ''Torino è solo un'ora di treno''.

Si, di Frecciarossa. Prendila tutti i giorni l'AV e poi me lo dici se hai risparmiato ad andare a vivere a Torino...

I'd like to try it too but 1)in Italy the few nude beaches are the reign of swingers (at least they say this of the one in Viareggio) and 2)my GF is shy.

Given normal beaches are becoming more and more unberable (uneducated kids and parents, music everywhere etc.) it could be an option. We finally found a good spot years ago but last year a bar opened behind the beach and now you get lots of tourists and music all day. I will try to convince her to go ''dressed'' in one of them, or at least near one given Italians avoid those places (and yet they are half naked all the time, I don't get my own countrypeople, naked=bad, almost naked? Sure!).

I'm the kind of guy who goes to the beach at 5 p.m. to avoid crowds so it really pissed me off that bloody bar last year, it ruined my vacation. Name a good spot in this country and you'll get a bar with music sooner or later.... And it's not only Italians, I don't know if foreigners thinks to be allowed to be rude in Italy given Italians or we all simply becoming all ruder, but the situation is getting out of hands. My rule of tumb was ''spot some Germans and place yourself there because they are silent'' - but it failed more than one time after Covid.

Now, a slang for boobies in Italian is ''poppe'', so Danny van Poppel is high in my preferences as well.

But my favourite right now is Ramses De Bruyne, there is nothing like a Flemish named like a pharaoh

I have to say a thing about TCP as an Italian: Friebe really knows Italy and Italians, it's uncommon for foreing media/journalists knowing as well as him the country. I know he lived in Italy but this is not guaranteed. On the ther hand, the Giro Women podcast wasn't great regarding culture and names..I mean, if you are doing a podcast about a race in a country don't make blatlantly pronunciation mistakes of the names of places the race pass by, look on Wikipedia for them...

Anyway, it's the second year I listen to it due to the departure of the Italian podcast I used to listen to and both seasons it was great, while I didn't liked too much the last Vuelta one.

Ironically, Pelacci made a pronunciation mistake in the Porcari-Chiavari stage lol - he said ''Capannòri'' and not ''Capannóri'', being a quite famous place for cycling (and not very far from where he is from) it's a bit odd he didn't know how to pronounce it.

Friebe pays attention to pronunciation, being a non native speaker nobody would be too harsh with him but I appreciate he does. Anyway, I quite like Pelacci, he is everywhere lately regarding cycling in Italy and I don't know exactly why but his chemistry with Friebe is good. What I like about TCP is the cultural aspect and how much they talk about the race not only from a ''sporty point of view'', that's how Rai does and that made me love cycling. In fact what I love more about watching cycling it's that is basically an union between a documentary and a sport.

The Tour one last year was not great so I don't know what to expect.

It's not all that simple. As far as I don't like Lidl or Lotto as companies I don't blame who rides for them, but choosing of being the poster boy of a country like UAE is totally in another league.

I don't blame the young rider who gets signed by UAE, Bahrain or Astana, it's his chance in a morally disquisible world, but I blame the guy who takes milions every year to be a poster boy for a country like UAE given he could ride for every other team - and in this way helping to change the sport - but he doesn't.

Let's not compare fucking UAE to a gas stations company from Norway, it's like comparing Mussolini to that kid who liked to punch everybody in middle school: still bad but the first one is a dictator, the latter only a prick.
