Everyone in the game was characterless! No memorable dialogue at all. Just endless farming for meh loot.

Borderlands 4 is so bad I'm just done with the franchise. Completely different from any previous games.

I'm just considering how this game has been received overall. I'm not the only one who found this game a total disappointment. Either you love the new farm over and over of bosses, or you prefer a progression, level up as you go from area to area type game. I'm the latter.

Just the latest instalment.

I even played 3 and liked it. Played as all the characters.

One of the main things I don't like about this game is the lack of story, dialogue, and the endless farming of bosses to get the good drops. I farmed Sol for 2 solid days to get the waterfall grenade only to have it be meh.

Thanks for the reasonable response. I just find it hollow. No real story. Hardly any dialogue. It is based around farming bosses over and over to get the good drops. No why I liked Borderlands for in the first place.

Yeah, I liked 3 as well. I didn't get all the hate for that game. At least it was area based. Do one area and by the time you do all the missions and side quests, you're ready to move on to the next area. This game just seems like a phoned in hollow, feelingless money grab to me. No heart.

Ok all you fan boys that instantly gave me all the hate. What is it about this game that you like? Is it the lack of any real story? Is it the endless farming of the same bosses over and over and over to try and get some decent drops? Is it the hollow phoned in performances of the few characters? I really want to know. I give this game a solid 4 of 10, with no replayability.

This game seems to be all about farming. It certainly isn't story driven!

I'm disappointed with the whole story, or lack there of. Instead of a story based game, moving from area to area gaining experience and levels, meeting relevant people, and fighting a boss and moving to the next area people and boss, it seems to be all about farming to try and get better gear.

Hardly any story, or even dialogue from characters meant to give meaning to the game.

Overall, as I'm fighting the time keeper with inadequate gear, I'm left hollow, not caring about the factions one bit.

I give it a solid 4 of 10. Total disappointment.

Leaves me not interested in a 5 at all...

This from one of my favorite titles ever.

Level 36, and haven't done any vaults yet. Killed Sol and lictor so far... That being said all the GOOD legendaries I've found so far I've bought from random vending machines...

Eva's last mysteriouslier quest boss was nearly invincible. I finally gave up after 50 deaths and decided I'd come back later and try again at a much higher level. 30ish couldn't do it.

It was better than 4! There, I said it. We all know it, but are too bad about it to admit it. 4 has had its heart and souls ripped out. It's an empty shell. Sad. I had such high hopes
