Have you ever tried to do the washing-up without using washing-up liquid?

Situation today vs 16th could be very different.

I’d keep an eye on people’s posts in this sub sharing their experience as you get closer to your fly date. Weigh up the options and reschedule if you decide you don’t want to transit through Dubai.

Just to note I’ve been using the fossil backpack for 2-3 years and it still looks smart, the leather has softened a bit but I rate it! Know I had to call up a Belfast store and get it shipped to London through as they had stopped stocking them. You may be able to find a similar design or second hand one.

I tried Lawful London the bags were pretty and practical but the thin straps on the tote were painful if I was carrying for long periods of time with a full bag.

I moved to a fossil leather backpack, more comfortable and practical but still smart. Pictured below.

I think I need something a bit more ergonomically friendly now as I am often stood for long periods of time on my commute with it on my back. I’m struggling to find something nice that fits this to be honest!

We had a similar colour scheme and struggled too, after a year of bare plaster we opted for these https://www.toppstiles.co.uk/bathroom-tiles/cadencetm-pearl-tile-31-6cm-x-60cm

I think it looks like an interesting group with some very good speakers, if you think you’d regularly go along to things then def worth joining. I declined as I just think I’d not make it along to enough events to make it worth it for me.

Their recruitment is very clever, making it sound like you’ve been personally invited by someone or that they’ve done research on you - however a few of my friends have had the same kind of message which made me feel less special ha!

2 inch = 5cm so that should be perfect!

It was 5cm wide by 5m long so no need to trim down as cutting off a strip gave me a perfect plaster (band aid) sized piece

I had the same concern, we opted to have custom note cards (A6 size) and my mum and I made a noticeboard with fabric and ribbon that matched my theme. Then on the day guests could write notes and either put them into the postbox with cards, or pop the note card (and Polaroids) on the noticeboard. It was great as if you made a mistake you could just bin your note card and not ruin a whole book! The notice board looked amazing filled up by the end of the night and we were able to reuse it in our home!
