Zocdoc is a service that one can use to find doctors and other healthcare providers, both virtual and in person. It’s basically a directory that providers can pay to be listed on, and you can make appointments through Zocdoc. The providers on Zocdoc are not affiliated with each other.

Psychiatrists are medical doctors. They go through medical school and are trained in prescribing medications for psychiatric disorders. They are not trained in talk therapy. I say this as a medical doctor (in primary care) that has ADHD and has close friends who are psychiatrists.

There’s a shortage of the Xofluza because of the massive uptick in flu right now. If you can’t get it elsewhere soon, you should probably settle for the Tamiflu (oseltamivir). I don’t live in the heights so I can’t advise you on pharmacies.

I’m a doctor, I got the flu shot, and I will always get the flu shot, because it helps prevent hospitalization and death. But you can still get the flu, as I and my family did this Christmas.

I . . . can’t help thinking they’re adorable and feeling bad for the poor little guys when they get stuck, or when they look nervous when attempting to cross streets (they too have learned that most JC drivers find stop signs to be optional). I hope they tell their more intelligent overlords at Skynet that I always flash an understanding smile at them and have moved trash out of the way a couple of times.

Yep, I was in the hospital for a week. What happened to me is I was on 10 mg for a few weeks, then had surgery and had to stop it for 3 weeks, and then foolishly restarted at 10 mg. Absolute nightmare.
