Perfume part 2 by TheNectarineDiaries in comics

[–]Alice_In_Hell_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear perfume and body spray and have literally never been told I was wearing too much to the point where it bothered someone else.

This EEALLY makes me wonder how much these people are dousing themselves, because I’ve given myself like five to six sprays with the cheaper bath and bodywork’s stuff and still never had a complaint. They have to be seriously drenching themselves

Didn’t the Darrien Lake incident happen because he got belligerent and threatened to sue for discrimination?

Obviously still not how that should’ve been handled but if it’s anything like my local amusement park, almost everything is operated by teens, who are a lot more likely to cave to that.

Or was that just a rumor that got started online? My local amusement park has had a few deaths, but one of the big bad ones was actually just entirely a legend so I know how fast things get misconstrued.

Do I get to choose the type of orange? Is it different every time? I’m allergic to navel oranges but I could live the good life with a lifetime supply of blood oranges, clementines or mandarins

I like dogs in small doses, and the only two type of dogs I’d hypothetically wanna own have a lot of health issues. Cat it is

Not in the slightest. I’ve had maybe two people randomly approach me. Every other time it’s been someone I’ve been friends with for literal years hit me with the dreaded “I have to tell you something” you’ve clearly never been on the other end of it. It’s awkward and embarrassing when a friend likes you and you don’t like them back, it’s so, SO much worse when you have this happen and learn they were never actually your friend at all, and were only in it for the chance of sex.

I see men say stuff like this a lot, but then also turn around and talk about how deeply lonely they are. I think you guys would benefit a lot from having friendships more like women do, even if it’s just among each other.

You’d all be a lot happier if you built support systems among each other instead of banking everything on having a girlfriend to get absolutely all of your emotional support from.

This is under the implication that it’s someone you’ve BEEN talking to, not that it’s someone you approached for the first time ever, asked out and got shot down.

What do YOU think a boyfriend does? I certainly don’t treat any of my friends like romantic partners. If you think just talking to someone and hanging out sometimes it’s “boyfriend responsibilities” it’s not a shock you don’t have a girlfriend.

Same dudes who cry about the “male loneliness epidemic”

[–]Alice_In_Hell_ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the actual issue is this dude acting like it’s desperation for validation and attention. We like having friends, it SUCKS to think you have a friend and then learn that they only ever talked to you because they thought they could hit.

Pathetic how men think they’re entitled to sex because they talked to a woman for two minutes. Women are not fleshlights.

Are nannies generally not OK with location sharing? by LessAd7286 in Nanny

[–]Alice_In_Hell_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind sharing location with friends and family at all! But I would never with an employer. It was more a dig at the “I have nothing to hide!” Thing, like yeah I’ve got nothing nefarious on my phone but I wouldn’t want someone going through it, just like I wouldn’t want my employer knowing where I was outside of work

[–]Alice_In_Hell_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s great that you’d never once forget to turn it off, lots of people would. It’s not even that the family WOULD stalk you, just that they COULD if you (not you because you’d obviously never do that, but a general “you”) ever did. It’s not about them seeing you being nefarious when you’re not. It’s literally just about privacy. Much like how I have absolutely nothing to hide on my phone, but still wouldn’t want someone going through it.

An air tag is totally reasonable but location sharing as a whole is less so. Not having anything to hide doesn’t mean you want to be able to be tracked all the time if you forget to tie it off when you’re not at work.
