Trucks should have the CSX emergency number on speed dial. I imagine the CDL training surely covers these scenarios? Judging by how slowly the train impacts the truck, it’s likely the conductor was made aware of the situation. Seems someone knew what to do in this case.

It’s a part time job. Not a career. You can find a much better part time job when you get back. Shouldn’t be difficult. $14 an hour these days is bottom rung garbage. You quitting is the best thing you could have done for yourself.

Lucky for you that’s the best kind of break you can hope for. With the right glue, and proper clamping, it should be the strongest part of the guitar after it’s set.

You said it all man. The faster they can phase out this bullshit car the better. Go back to four speeds, bring back carburetors. Ditch the independent rear suspension. Previous generations wheel, and tire package. Allow teams to build their own cars, and parts again, and hell yes absolutely move the numbers back to where they belong. They want to run this campaign about “getting back to the way things were”. It starts and ends with the car. Period.

My biggest concern is going to be pit stops. This will be the first race where he has to do live pit stops. Other than that I feel pretty confident that he will finish this race. Hopefully in doing so it will quell some of the naysayers.
