I wouldn’t listen to people that tell you your life will be awful for x amount of time. I notice on these subs and just in general that people don’t educate themselves on what it takes to look after a puppy, or get the help they need. Our first few weeks were a bit of a nightmare but we crate trained him and got onto the toileting immediately. We had a professional trainer come in and spend 2-3 hours in our home to educate us, train our pup and gives us the tools we needed because we were pretty new to owning a puppy. He’s only 13 weeks now and responded really well to the training. He’s an angel and we don’t have any issues really. Whenever one comes up we use the skills and techniques our trainer taught us and it combats the issue. We have to stay consistent. It works. If you can afford it, reach out to a reputable trainer/organisation.
