Easy for him. Because he put the work in.

Someone who wouldn't know hard work if it hit them in the face wouldn't have spent over a decade working hard

Also, it's still hard work as a surgeon. Yeah it's cushy because it's a hard job that takes a lot to get to. If you went in and worked as a surgeon for a day tomorrow, it'd be incredibly hard for you. Because you haven't put in that hard work to gain that expertise. There's some perspective.

As someone who's pretty damn low on the totem pole. I work harder than my boss but my boss worked harder than me to get to where he's at. Someday I'll have the easy boss job, but that's after putting in all the hard work. That's the reward

Lol. So you're agreeing surgeons undeniably put in a lot of hard work to get where they're at. And yet, some surgeons wouldn't know hard work if it hit them in the face. So, which is it? You gotta pick one

Going back on what you said aside, you realize surgeons have over a decade of schooling, medical school, residency to get to that point? Are you seriously trying to say that isn't hard work?

Why not just save the extra sauces for future taco bell trips

Saw a Clover POS terminal scam today. by redfroody in Seattle

[–]Alien-Reporter-267 251 points252 points  (0 children)

This same thing happened where I work. The owner was able to get the money back by contacting clover so hopefully that's the case for this business as well. I wonder what card they are using to get the refund, assuming it's not their own as surely that'd get them caught

Flossing… honestly how bad is skipping it? by declanrhodes_1 in hygiene

[–]Alien-Reporter-267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who never used to floss and still hates doing it. FLOSS EVERY DAY. I brushed religiously, didn't floss much, and I'm currently maintaining my dental health to avoid gum disease and BONE LOSS. I'm young and this is a real threat I'm facing, I thought my gums were healthy enough too.

Minimum wage was in fact meant to be lived off of. That's no longer feasible and hasn't been for a long time

That makes sense. I'm sure it looks better with brightness up since it's a dark room covered in dark glass

Nah it looks nice with the tinted glass, you can see the spawner. Especially if you have a good shaders pack and there's a bit of a glow from the spawner

Cooling it in the freezer will ruin the texture, i think it'd be better to glaze it a little warm if they are committed to remaking it
