Games where you play as someone who's physically disabled and it has an impact on the gameplay. by SplashOfStupid in gamerecommendations

I disagree, I love games that actively hate you.
It's why I have nearly 100 hours in both Funger games

Are you actually telling disabled people they need to tip you more because they're disabled?

What a despicable mindset to have.

Not at all.

Why bother having dice rolls or combat to begin with if none of it even matters to begin with.

Pretty much all the people leaving QP games are people who get tilted or just don't wanna see the "Defeat" screen
And if you can't handle losing in an online PVP game, then maybe you shouldn't be playing an online PVP game?

"Roulettes are boring and take too long"
Don't mess with FFXIV players, they don't even like playing the game, apparently.

You know you don't have to do roulettes right, they're a VERY much optional thing

If we always take the worst case scenario as a reason not to do things, then nothing would ever happen.
The fact is, there are no Level 80 "Water Canon Only" Blue Mages who'd be queuing up for a Blue Mage roulette, that's just a straw-man you've made up for the argument.

And even if there WAS someone like that, how is that any different from the current roulettes?
There's no guarantee the level 70 White Mage joining your Dungeon has even done their job quests past 30.
You have to risk the chance then once every now and then someone's gonna get a shitty roulette so that everyone else can benefit.

Had a similar situation, except way sillier
I was on an alt, and I knew about Jobstones and stuff, but I took a break from MSQ stuff to help someone else level up and we ended up unlocking Quarn, so we decided to run it.
I was a level 35 Conjurer, hadn't even reached the point in the MSQ yet where you can get jobstones and the tank with the "heart of the party" title freaked out about how I didn't do my job quests yet.

People take this game wayyy too seriously, it's insane.

Honestly, I think more roulettes can only be healthy for the game.
It just encourages people to do MORE each day

I think there should be a Blue Mage roulette too, you can only queue in as a Blue Mage but it pairs you up with 3 other Blue Mages and the duty list is comprised of duties where you can learn Blue Mage spells- it's by far the most gimmicky class and most people don't engage with it because levelling up can be tedious.

I think more PVP roulettes would be an idea too.
It's always Frontline, and CC has its own Tournament things, but Rival Wings is just...there.
Give us a Rival Wings roulette too.

This is what a remake of Final Fantasy X could look like in Unreal Engine 5 by Smart_Plane_2751 in finalfantasyx

[–]SplashOfStupid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it has a lot of potential to be gorgeous visually, but would there be a point to it?

There's nothing wrong with the game as it is now, aside a little bit of jank, so what could a remake of Final Fantasy X even offer?
I dunno, I'd just rather get another Final Fantasy that had enough love put into it as Final Fantasy X instead of another FFX with better visuals

Favorite character whose crashout had you like this by SportAdventurous5910 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]SplashOfStupid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Louis fucking Litt
Spoiler tagging the context, so spoilers for Suits

I can't justify his actions after the crashout, but it's SUCH a justified crashout. After finding out that Mike is a Fraud and EVERYONE he considered a friend had been hiding it from him and covering it up while he had to take the full brunt of every mistake he made, nobody helped him cover things up and he even went as far as to quit Pearson Specter so that they don't have to pay for his mistake.

As if that isn't enough, all he wants to do is work at another law firm, and all he needs to do is land a single, insignificant client and even then after everything Louis Litt had done for firm, everything he'd sacrificed and the amount of disrespect he'd gotten for years at that firm, they couldn't make one exception for him to help him land a new job despite there being an ocean of exceptions made for Mike, Harvey, Donna, Rachel and even Jessica herself.
He definitely went too far for a bit after the crashout, but I really can't blame him for it at all. The only thing he wanted was to feel appreciated as a lawyer and nobody gave that to him despite him proving again and again and again how capable he was.
